For all who did not pick the sacrifice ending.

They're finally wrapping stuff up with a degree of certainty. And it seems we'll be getting happily ever afters.

If Leliana was romanced, the Trespasser DLC has two epilogues depending on whether or not she's the divine. Both mention that the HoF and her pretty much lived happily ever after (or as close to happily ever after it gets in Thedas)

Leliana continued her romantic affair with the Hero of Fereldan, even though their respective responsibilities often kept them/the two women apart. Whenever she could spare the time, Leliana would join her love at a villa on the Waking Sea - the house from Leliana's childhood. Those days were deeply cherished, for both saw the troubles that were to come.

Leliana continued her open affair with the Hero of Ferelden. She/he was often seen at the Divine's side. Eventually, Divine Victoria decreed that all members of the Chantry, from initiate to Divine, would be allowed to engage in romantic relationships. When questioned, the Divine pointed to Andraste, who served the Maker while wed to a mortal spouse. In time, many in the Chantry came to accept the Divine's decree that "Love is the Maker's best gift and is infinite."

This makes me very happy. They don't mention the cure to the taint, but I'm guessing that's a plot point for future games. Maybe another letter from HoF about whatever they might've found to the then protagonist.

Here's hoping they wrap all the romances so neatly.

They didn't end my Couslands story... Oh well, she's Queen-Consort to Alistair and all (no, she's not a Leliana romance, she's a Alistair romance).

I am glad others are happy about this. But I don't like it. It just seems to me they should have kept the celibate part of it. Cassandra does. It just seems like Leliana was given the honey and roses treatment for most of her endings.

I'm glad they at least brought the HoF back to Thedas rather than sweep them off to some uncharted middle of nowhere to keep them out of it until the end of time, which they easily could have done. Hopefully they're actually implied to be doing something a bit more relevant now. The non-Divine Leliana epilogue seems to imply they're both preparing.

almost like Leliana is a religious radical and Cass is more conservative....

I think it's less that and more the fact that Cass is heavily duty-minded and not inclined to allow personal wants to get in the way of obligation and truth. Changing a rule just to benefit herself wouldn't mesh with her sense of integrity, just as say covering up the truth about Ameridan (again) does not mesh with her sense of integrity. Leliana's faith on the other hand has been shown to be heavily driven by personal wants ... the world is just lucky that those wants are mostly lovey-dovey and not wipe-out-the-heathens.

What about crazy pants divine Leliana?

What about crazy pants divine Leliana?

She murders anyone who tries to thwart her plans and then goes all lovey-dovey with HoF.

So yeah, not much of a difference.

Edit:

The way I see it, hardening Leliana in DAO and DAI don't actually change how she feels about people. All it changes is how she reacts to those who try to harm her or otherwise subvert her plans. Hardening her just makes her a more determined and ruthless person, which in a way can actually even be seen as good for her relationship with the HoF because it'll just make her a tougher opponent for anyone who tries to harm the HoF.

I let Alistair make the sacrifice in the fade and he was romantically involved with my Dalish Hof. No mention oof Hof in the trespasser epilogue. Next IQ to finish tresspasser let Hawke rearguard in the fade. Will be interesting to see but since Alistair is but a cameo I am not sure if we get anything.

My HoF is still running around with Zevran trying to find a Grey Warden cure. No news is still good news at this point.

(Side note: Even though Zevran was mostly ignored in DAI, I love how they handled it. No being separated, no having to choose between DAO OTP and DA2 OTP. Happily ever after. "Zevran and I have our own adventures.")

Don't Zevran have wartable mission?

DIvine Leli is fricken horrible. It's waaaaaaay too happy, lovey dovey and forced.

celibate? Gone

Circles? Gone

Race and gender restrictions? Gone

Certain verses restored? Yes

Bioware tried too hard with divine Leli and it just comes off as a joke.

Not if he's romanced since he's journeying with the warden.

do you think that the Warden help fight against solas, as the inquisition needs help from people that solas does not know

Well, Cassandra stays with the Chantry if Leliana is Divine while she quits in disgust if Vivienne is in charge. At least Leliana is not the worst Divine out of the three.

I think it's a good thing. Leliana was always going to push for these changes, and who knows, she won't be divine forever so someone else down the line might just undo it all.

Knowing bioware they usually mix all choices into one canon anyway so we'll have to see how it holds up in future games.

Yes, I'm glad they're finally putting the HoF to pasture.

Warden and Leliana are either... semi(?)-retired at the villa or making it work as Divine and giving Sebastian's ilk a collective heart attack.

Warden and Zevran are together, presumably killing Crows and darkspawn in equal measure.

Warden and Morrigan got their white picket fence ending, including the kid and the dog. (Or the dog's puppies, at this point...)

Warden and Alistair are either Grey Wardening, ruling a country, or the Warden is 4eva alone because you fed Al to a demon.

Besides i still find it a bit illogical that we still have the warden conflict in the north, and not having the HoF involved in that doesnt sound right. Or something importent like stopping the last archdemons once and for all. Anything less is cheap

Ruthless Leliana should get these results. A goody-nice Leliana pulling this off should end with a Chantry war.

Leliana is my romance choice from DAO and there is no way I was going to let her be stuck sitting some throne for the rest of her life but the Divine Leliana ending justs seems too easy and nice.

So? The resolution of that result has been clear since 2009.

I bet that she was also considering that even the living Warden are somehow limited because of the possibility that they could have died, thus not reappearing anymore or be irrelevant in Thedas.
