Neither Corypheus nor Solas were members, though I wouldn't put it past Vivienne to follow in their footsteps eventually.
I would say "burn" but that would be too "punny" for Madame de Fer.

You want to talk Irony? How about how Solas imprisoned the Elven gods for killing Mythal, only to go kill Flemeth (Mythal) himself.

They did it because she wasn't a tyrant like they were. He did it presumably - and I'm sure she's probably not entirely dead- to gain the power he needed to save the People. He likely would've avoided that route if he could've.

How do you know? Because he told you?
After Corypheus, Hakkon and now Solas, atheism in Thedas is looking more and more attractive.
Not so. If you accept their status as deities, your position is not atheism, and if you don't, what they do should have no impact on your beliefs about gods.
The position reasonably following from the events of DAI would be called "Misotheism" or "Dystheism" (dislike of the gods or the belief that gods are evil), which I've always found to be an eminently reasonable one. My main Inquisitor has expressed this as follows: "It's just as well I don't believe in the Maker. If he existed, I'd have to fight him."
How do you know? Because he told you?
As a side note do you think they could imply more heavly where the next game was going to take place? And just what is it with people stabbing inanimate objects in dragon age?
INB4 we go to antiva and never set foot in tivinter.
And it's because inanimate objects don't have opinions. You're not allowed to just not have opinions in Thedas.
Corypheus and Marauder Shields, unsung heroes of Bioware.
They weren't the heroes we wanted but they were the heroes we deserved.
How do you know? Because he told you?
I just love how it's 100% possible that Solas has not said a single truthful thing.
He could be 100% BSing us and we'd never know.
Precisely. Until we meet the Evanuris we can't know what they are like. All we have is the extremely biased opinion of the trickster God of the Elvhen Pantheon and some codex entries which are more or less propaganda for both sides.
As much as I like Solas I can't help but remember the codex entry in the Vir Dirthara:
"Beware the forms of Fen'Harel! The Dread Wolf comes in humble guises, a wanderer who knows much of the People and their spirits. He will offer advice that seems fair, but turns slowly to poison. Remember the price of treason, and keep in your heart the mercy of your gods."
It's just so spot on.
Because that is totally not propaganda made by the Evanuris to slander Fen'Harel who wanted to end their little cycle of slavery and magical abuse. I think we're also forgetting that Abelas most certainly didn't have anything negative to say about Solas and the legend about him killing Mythal was false. Who the Evanuris were may be complex, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of truth to what Solas has said, especially given what Flemeth says about meeting Mythal.

We know that Solas is someone who comes to offer wisdom (he says so himself). We know some of is actions/advice were not for the good of the person he gave them too (like giving Cory the orb). We know he started a rebellion which is considered treason against an established power. Where is the slander?
Personally, it wouldn't surprise me if Solas had an hand in killing Mythal. Telling half-truth and lies so people do things he wants without getting involved is basically is modus operandi.

Honestly that codex entry about the golden knight fighting the black knight makes Mythal seem the only clear-headed one.
Behold the sanest person in all of Thedas

That continent is toast
This thread is quite funny, keep it up, guys.
