are they really that different?

Power Wheel - Check

Pause game while in combat- Check (hold power wheel)

Use all the abilities of your character AND your squadmates - Check (with powerwheel)

Ability to set squadmates to certain cover  points on a given map - Check - again this has been streamlined as well.. they actually go to the spot now lol.

Cover - Check  - this has actually been improved i think.  i feel its much more responsive than before, and i dont have to duck.. it does it for me.  Also if i go to a spot where my squadmate was heading, they actually move out of the way now.

The addition of the ammo mechanic is understandably controversial.. some like, some dont.  I am one of those that wishes the old system was back.

Also, no MACO.  again, some like it, some dont.  personally i am not one for 3D moon patrol and rock climbing.  I much prefer the scanning mechanic.

The one thing that i dont really like is they changed the targeting a bit with the powerwheel.  Instead of getting a bold triangle that is really easy to see, you instead get a very light rectangle that is hard to see.   this makes targeting biotics a pain at times (at least for me).

anyway.. thats my take.

i understand some of the complaints, as they ARE valid, but i wanted to give bioware my feedback.. thanks for a great game :)
