Yes I made Cole a real boy so he hooks up with the Bard.  But I think it is far more cute to have Krem and her hook up.

I actually found Cole and Maryden to be a lot more cute and sweet than Krem and Maryden.

I agree I love that they referenced the Krem standing on his chair glitch.  Very funny.

Cole is easily my favourite character and more-spirit is my canon, so I was hugely disapppointed that this is his only scene, and it's entirely about other people instead of actually interacting with him. But for what it's worth, yes, the way he sets it up is touching ... and I say that as a complete asexual/aromantic. I do like Krem a lot, however, so I am happy for him. And I enjoyed hearing Cole say "He will be gentle. So will you," and then give his soft little chuckle in the end. That's my happy spirit.

 

The scene with Zither is amusing. In that one, Cole almost sounds like a wise older brother who says go ahead and have some fun if you really want, and hopefully learn something from it too, i.e. that this guy isn't really suited for more than a romp.

I think someone said on here that they imagined Krem was up on the chair because he'd just led a rousing cheer heralding the inquisitor's entrance. I always liked that explanation myself

Krem was saddled with a rather pun-prone nickname apparently, yes. I wonder how many chairs he broke in the name of getting a closer look at the ... songs. A guy in full plate bouncing up and down like that? I bet half his bar tab consists of broken chairs. Keeps the carpenter in business, at least.

I was disappointed to see Cole this human. I liked how he'd always help people in an odd way of his, but slowly he just become so solid and human. Agh. Not that it's inherently bad. it wasn't. it was a loss to me though. *Big sigh* 

 

i'm oddly attached to him- I didn't make him more human lightly. I think it was one of the harder decisions for me and i actually ended up regretting the outcome, interestingly.

As for the thread, I liked Cole with Maryden. Totally unexpected.

I'd never make him human.  Being human means he can't do as much good for people, he has to re-learn how to live, and he will eventually die.  He seems happy enough as a human, but I just couldn't bring myself to give him the pain that comes along with emotion along with the joy.
