Hi!

I really like playing multi in DA:I but I really often (1 out of 2 battles) have a problem with inactive mouse and some of keys on keyboard.

When I start the battle:

-there is no mouse cursor (I can't move camera, can't aim spells on enemies, can't autoattack with clicking by mouse, can't open doors etc)

- there are no health/mana or abilities/pots bars seen, the same with map (I have only "main window" with hero and the area)

-I can use keyboard (but still using "R" is making autoattacks to automatic aims, I can't choose them), but Esc, F1-F9 don't work (so I can't even go to menu and restart the multiplayer)

- The area spells which need to be clicked on ground making my champion blocked in spell animation (probably because I can't choose the area by clicking mouse)

This is really strange cause there are battles where all is right and I can use mouse, move camera, use menu, but half of them is bugged like that. So I don't think it's the matter of my laptop parametres- maybe my net connection is too weak? I tried to play just without team and it worked well, without any bugs- but how can I enjoy playing MULTIplayer by playing alone?

What do you guys think about that? Some1 met with the same issue?

And sorry that I made new topic, I tried to find sth connected with my problem, but I didn't succeed.

Looks like you encountered the "no UI" bug. It happens every few games when joining a game. Working as intended because the team will never bother to fix it. Happens more often if you have a HDD instead of a SSD

Oh I didn't know about the HDD vs SSD.   I do have SDD and I rarely see the no UI bug but once in a blue moon I did encounter this.   And when that happened I believe the whole team has it.   There seems to be certain level of bugginess.   Some just no hotkey but you get health bar and can move mouse and everything.   Some you have nothing....all you could do is WASD and 12345678.   I had one battle with the later and after everything is dead on the map we can't move forward to next zone because nobody could open the door. :P

The most irritating thing is that I have to restart the whole game to quit that bugged battle xD That make me spend more time on looking at loading screen than playing :P- yesterday I had 3 such bugged games in row, then I lost hope, today 2 games ok, 3rd was bugged ( I didn't try more)

Thanks for your quick anwers, shame they won't fix this, it makes multiplayer close to unplayable (My camera once moved to the view from the top, I saw only head of my hero, impossible to play xD)

if you have a good pc (anthill i5/ fx 8xxx /a8 xxxx  with a gtx 680ti / r9 270 or better with at least 8gb of ram) and a decent internet connection (at least 10 mpbs down 2mbps up and less than 50ms to the nearest speed test server) then host the games and you wont get as many bugged ones, if your specs are lower or your internet isn't up to the job chanes are you will end up worse off though in public matches.

the single biggest problem that causes bugs in the game is lag based be that hardware, connection speed or packet loss based,

your system needs to ask the server to ask the team members pc's what map /faction etc each time you all load in,

every time someone joins or leaves and if you all get teleported,

the poorer the specs are the longer that info takes to flow the more buggy the games are,

if your connection suffers a lot of packet loss then do yourself and everyone else a favour by getting interleaving turned on by your isp (they will know what it means even if you don't) you can check this normally by looking at your routers stats page and seeing if anything is listed under errors (hec/crc etc)  and if its more than 1 you should get interleaving for stability.

packet loss causes more problems than anything else as the "host" system you see people die and pop up full hp a few milliseconds later, it still registered as a death but finally the last 10 kills worth of heal on kill arrived  all at once ..... other times the game suddenly gets really laggy and someone starts insta reviving (normally the host) they are likely using a cheat program.....finish the match and leave  either type of game

the only way to overcome the lag based bugs (like the good old key glitch which I saw in a game last week) would be to limit the playerbase by locality and despite trying this players merely utilised a vpn service to get round it and caused even more problems with excessive hops packet routing ....

it can suck hardcore and some people joining a game will sometimes cause a decent smooth lag free game to start stuttering like mad, if it happens kick them out before you all crash / (push v to bring up party window and then select the offender and click vote to kick button )

also if you ever find your playing along smoothly and suddenly after using esc to drop a target your quick skill keys no longer work, hit the tilde key (under esc next to 1) and it will all magically start working again ..... its happened to me so many times its not even funny ....
