Oh no, she keeps it going, she just manages to sort-of hide it a tiny bit better when in a public setting, like Meetings. She has no problems at all with maintaing her relationship with you, the main difference is she says Marriage is something that can never happen, as opposed to "maybe someday".

Thanks! That's cool, I can work with that!

Now, Cassandra dear, we just need to speak about that Divine... "armor". I'm pretty sure that quite a few orlesian nobles got a heart attack the second they saw that.

Well she has a conversation with Vivienne about not being a fan of the dress, because of course she isn't :P. Vivienne tells her she is able to wear armor on the Sunburst Throne if she prefers, because there is no rules saying she can't, so long as it is good armor lol.

Spoiler

Her armor is okay, it's the helmet I got a problem with. I mean... what is that? I understand that it's supposed to be a stylized version of the sun sigil, but... just look at it! Seems like an unspoken agreement in real world and fiction that the head of a religion needs silly headwear. :D

Or bioware terrible at designing heavy armors. The heavy armors have been very weak when it comes to design in this game.

Bioware does totally fail at Hats, Helmets, etc. But from a lore perspective, it's clearly because it's Orlesian lol

btw, seeing Cassandra in that Divine Armor gave me a totally awesome image of her. She declares an Exalted March on Qunadar because they are invading again. So Cassandra, being Cassandra, decides to take charge of the Exalted March personally, strap into the armor and smash the Qunari herself rather than just sit in the Cathedral thousands of miles away.

Can somebody be so kind and tell me the differences between the Divine and non-Divine romance of Cassandra in Trespasser? Is she keeping the relationships as a Divine or is she breaking it up to maintain the proper celibacy?

Actually the Divine romance ending kind of confirms that yes, you break up.

lol, if you wished to interpret it that way, I suppose you can. But I didn't get that impression at all.

Nah, I was pretty satisfied. There was a half-promise of marriage and the epilogue showed Cassandra and Inky living decently content between staying together and staying with their duties, just as I expected it would be like. I never imagined Cassandra's romance would end in settling down for good.

Yup, her romance conclusion is no worse, than, say Leliana and the Warden's in DAO.

It doesn't explicitly say they married, but there's no reason to think they didn't either.

At least, as long as she'd not the Divine.

The impression I got is that they broke up out of her duty to the Chantry, but remained in love with each other.

Star crossed lovers indeed.

it's hard to get an impression when your trying to read at 1000mph lol. However it didn't seem entirely hopeless for them. Seemed like a situation where they might meet up privately from time to time, especially if shes rebuilding the Seekers, because thats a long ways away from the eyes of the Chantry lol.

I was disappointed with her conversation, they wasted it with the Varric's joke. There is no physical interaction between them, no hugs, hand holding, nothing.
But I liked the epilogue and what she says in the end of her conversation.

I was disappointed. Not because it was bad, but because I so badly wanted to see them get together formally. I don't enjoy romantic movies, but I thought what they did with Cassandra and the inquisitor was great and it stung pretty bad when she became the divine. Guess I'm a hopeless romantic after all lol.
