I was extremely disappointed in dragon age 3 , the first big battle, defending the first outpost , I forget all the names I'm sorry. But the big baddie attacks you choose four party members, can have eight, what do the other four do? Cower in the church ? They should be out helping people get there covering a flank, doing something.... Loved at the end of Dragon age one you can fight with all your companions... This is a flaw I have seen in every rpg series, breath of fire, final fantasy, star wars knights of the old republic, and others ... Final fantasy6 advanced though with the Dragons den was amazing use of a party.

I am also sick of the four man party, games have become pretty much reliant on the tank healer , leaving two spots, I'd like to see 5 or 6 man parties. Leaving more epic fights to be had, more party dialogue, more choices.

I'd like to see party members not currently in the party at least doing something, wether it's a side quest or some silly reason not to follow, like they have to defend your outpost or stronghold... Which would also have to mean more loot, more variety of loot, as you would need your whole party equipped and ready for a fight... As you did in star wars the old republic, maybe you send party members not in use on crafting material runs.


The maps are getting bigger and more "epic" let's make the parties more feel more epic.
