Can the loot buckets be slightly adjusted...

This is a bit of a melting pot but...

If I remember well, the loot buckets are tied to the number of items you got (store chests or in-game chests). And those loot buckets serves as a gate access to some items, like it's not possible to get endgame weapons from the first level of loot bucket.

Would it be possible to actually remove some items based on your loot bucket level? I mean, I understand when you're at the lowest level loot bucket you get Highland Dirks and Ferelden Longbows by the dozens, but when you're in the highest loot bucket wouldn't it be more logical if those weren't available...

Say there's 10 loot buckets, then each "level" of loot bucket removes 2 "item" levels. A loot bucket level 3 would only allow loot from level 6 and upward. Accessories like ability rings would be an exception of course, so would be some specific weapons like special daggers, but at least getting level 20s Common would feel  better than receiving a staff that does 39 cold damage for the trillionth time...

Another thing that would be nice would be to give a bit higher chance of Purples. I mean, you keep adding more and more items, we keep getting those level 10s purples by the dozen. I've already got 8 Storm Pack belt, probably 13 Cold and 9 Fire. I mean, there are other items you know... With the amount of crap the purples have, getting a higher chance of getting one shouldn't be a problem. Tie it to the loot bucket for all I care, I just want to actually have a chance to get something when I spend over 200k in Gold.

Finally, could we get more gold on NM and HB please. With the recent changes to Armor, the new characters, the balances changes and all, Perilous is easily done in 10 minutes (promotions help a lot too). You get about 1.2K and you're ready to go for another run. Nightmare games are more around 20+ minutes and you get about  1.3K. It's ridiculous... You could say we don't "have" to do the Dragons, but tying up Hakkon and the new level 26 weapons to them makes it hard to ever find a NM game that isn't Ferelden Castle. Basically our options are "Bore yourself to death on Perilous and get plenty gold" or "Grind the Dragons for a minimal chance of maybe getting something that might be worth it while you can kiss goodbye any hope for gold"... I don't see what the "good" choice is here...

I hope you'll at least consider this, the game has never been better than it is now and I hope we'll get even more in the future.

They should remove Raider Greatswords from the game. I just got one earlier today and it ranks even lower than the inquisition weapons.

I would prefer if loot ilvls would also carry different weight in the loot bucket if they're changing things. Using your example of the Highland Dirk, it should be worth say one point as its common and many people see at least a dozen on a daily basis with the current; system however something like lets say Bloody Bargain comes up far less often due to its ilvl and its status as a unique weapon but its still only worth one point. That seems extremely flawed and the only place I've seen drop rates come into play on this are Hakkon weapons and lowering the percentage chance based on how many you already have.

Harder to find items should be worth more items in the loot bucket system instead being priced the same as all other items. This would allow people to acquire points at a far better rate than the current 1:1 ratio system. This would also mean that your 1.3k gold you're gaining per NM run would be far more valuable because your guaranteed rare in the 2k box would be granting two or three points instead of only one and the unique you have a chance of acquiring would be worth more as well. This could take into account ilvl or just rarity for point distribution.

If used in conjunction with your idea of dropping ilvl items from your loot bucket, you'd gain at a quicker rate the more items you've received instead of having your numbers lul and stagnate later in the game because you either play fewer games or you spend longer periods of time in games for far less than they're worth.

Maximum loot level and I still get loads of level 1, 5 and 12 items.

Agree lower items should be removed if you are higher tier.

Agree with Ruggie they don't work.

Agree with everything mentioned above. I'm not in the highest bucket yet but we got too much trash and duplicates.

Is there a way to know what bucket level I am?

Sorry if the question is stupid...

Oh, it works. It's just badly designed, so I have to agree with pretty much everything said here. There are so many items I'm simply tired of seeing over and over again. Items that wouldn't have been any use to me several months ago.

Is there a way to know what bucket level I am?

There isn't. You can only guess based on the amount of gold you've spent and whether or not you loot treasure rooms.

Luke has mentioned implementing a way for loot score to be displayed, but we're still waiting on that as far as I know.

Nope! You can sort of guess, though, as assuming you buy all 2000 chests you'll get 8 items per chest...but the items from chests in the actual dungeons also count, so your "real" bucket level may be higher. I "heard" the top loot bucket was something like 10 million gold, though, and I'm not sure the full "bucket list" has been made publicly available.

Other people who are more familiar with the technical details can hopefully provide more info -- I can say that you need 300 items for Perilous Dragon loot (76k minimum spent not counting in-game drops) and 800 items for NM Dragon Hakkon drops (200k minimum spent not counting in-game drops).

3,200,000 gold spent is a good test sample for working or not

There's an astonishing amount of items seemingly everyone has, and I do not, despite the fact that I am playing since day one.

There's just a chance, chance is a ******.

One big loot pool is a crock of sh*te though.

There should be at least 3 or 4 different "categories"

And this "rare or better" is bullsh*t too.

Would be easy to make a "unique or better" chest.  Could also make categories since we know class chests were easily done.

I just find it tricky to keep the balance of it being kept out of reach just enough for "the chase" to be still a thing, and on the other hand remove some of the frustration.

After so much gold spend there only remains frustration, but personally, I found the class chests a little too  direct - given getting better gear is the single numerical goal one has on the horizon.

I'd rather have those cheap souvenir shop knock-off versions of the lvl 23 uniques, or maybe simply anything that has an "item score below X", taken wholly out of the equation, rather than guaranteeing you uniques in a chest.

My loot score is god. Each time there is a purple in the bunch (and there is each chest), its a bloody storm/fire/cold belt. Where the other items are *cough* epic new staff *cough* I dont know. Highly annoying.

Glad I'm not the only who felt like the store was ripping me off this weekend.

Still don't have a damn dragon rage ring...probably gotten 5 of every other ability ring.

How do I knew it is broke. Reasons.

1. People with less chest opened promotions whatever it goes off of get the same if not better items as me.

2. Took around 220 dragon nm runs before getting all the hakkons. I know noobs with 30 nms and 4 hakkons.

3. I still get chests full of commons.

4. Only got the sulevin and caliban once. (Weak now I know but they were the best)

5. If the loot score works so great why do I pull similar cards than someone with 700+ less prestige points? Why does no one knew for sure whether it works 100%¿ to me the loot system is all bs.

6. Higher end weapons should be based on hours played not chests opened or promotions. With some tweaking. This will keep the juicers out of the pool but not make it retard impossible for one person but the easiest thing for the next... if you played since launch or close to it and you can't pull What you want but some one playing for a few weeks on and off can somethings wrong.
