Am I the only person who would have liked to see some alternative in keeping the Inquisition then handing it over to the Divine. I feel like I spent Inquisition fighting against religious control of institutions and the only way I can keep the inquisition going is to hand it over to one???

Why couldn't it have had oversight from some council of leaders including the leaders of the free marches or had my inquisitor still running things?

I think part of the problem with decisions carrying over from previous games is that the developers can only offer us a couple of choices... which is radically different to origins which had an epilogue which offers a wide variety of options.. precisely because they weren't worried about a future game.

Whilst I agree that more outcomes would be nice (looking at Viv allowing the College of Enchanters out of respect for the Inquisition, when my Inquisitor told her she wanted them back in the Circles), there are realistically only so many things Bioware can import going forward. Yes DAO had a lot of different endings but none of them really mattered, up to and including the god baby.

Personally, I at least prefer this outcome with Bioware being upfront about what carries forward, as opposed to leaving it up in the air and everyone being upset their decisions were ignored or weren't sufficiently respected.
