So Hawke was sending carta dwarves against herself to get her to his prison?

Hawke's wanted to add another chapter to their memoirs....didn't they always wondered how much money they'd make of selling them,Varric inspired Them probably.

The reception of Hawkes cameo is a big reason HoF will never appear. If they messed up on the bulk of  Hawkes  despite having a dominate personalty and voice, how the heck will they handle someone with no voice and dominate personality.

I only had a few issues with Hawke in DA:I, all of which could have been avoided:

1. Being out of character in regards to blood magic or the Wardens. My Hawke may not have like blood magic, but there is no way she would have had that opinion of the Wardens, especially since her sister is one and they saved her homeland from the blight that forced her family to leave in the first place. That's as ridiculous as Teagan complaining about the Inquisition even having Wardens - under its command, no less.

2. My snarky Hawke should have been as snarky as in DA2, which is to say all the time, not a couple of lines.

If they fixed those things, it would have been great. So it's not impossible.

I'm mostly lucky since my Hawke was pretty in character outside the warden part (since her brother is a warden) but I just saw that getting all her anger, frustration and even her own guilt out of her system. What ruins it more me is when she's like "lol bye." um what?

What happen to the guilt you where showing? Wanting to mend your mistake? Help kill Coryfish?

We're not going to foll this character dev? *sigh* Least Loghain at last got his heroic death he wanted at least?

I think Varric was being prophetic when he said that he expects Weisshapt to just blow up with Hawke walking away... maybe with a few High Dragons falling to their deaths atop the ruins of the Grey Warden HQ... and all the people at the tavern Hawke visits get food poisoning, except for Hawke... and then Hawke finds a cute kitten, and just before he is about to pet it as it happily skips to him, a giant hawk swoops in and snatches the kitten away.

God, I love Hawke.

It's really more to do with how common it was wirth Hawke to the point that #BlameHawke became a thing. HoF and quizy while do either release some dangerous crap or help someone shady, it's just less common.

Right, there is her leaving when some random Warden could send the message. How could I forget? (No really, I just made a post about it, how could I forget?)

Actually, that reminds me. Doesn't Justinia's spirit say that once you go back through the portal, the Nightmare will be banished from the fade? Or something similar? So that means Hawke just needed to hold out for literally 30 seconds to survive if left behind...

Hmm not that I remember, personally the feeling I got was the nightmare demon can not be truly killed. Solas talks about how death for spirits and demons are not the same as mortals, considering how old and powerful (it predates the blight and it use to be a friendly spirit before it was corrupted so it might even predate the creation of the veil) Nightmare is and the impact it has, it's really no surprise it was able to come back to life that quickly. It's pretty much the closes we have ever gotten to a true Eldritch Abomination.

I only have one problem with your problem: My Hawkes weren't out of character. They hated Blood Magic and all it led to. So I'm happy with how Hawke was portrayed. That's the issue with bringing a PC back even as an NPC, they can't account for everyone, and some of the PC's choices may be diametrically opposed, such as the example given here. So, how are they going to avoid that? Just completely bland it up, so that the former PC has no opinion about anything? Won't that be out of character as well? Unless you played a Warden and then a Hawke who had no opinions about anything?

Lol Bioware. Another stain for the plot-contradiction record.

I'm glad your Hawkes weren't out of character. Mine wasn't even that out of character for the blood magic for the same reasons as yours, just the Warden thing. But I definitely don't think it would have been impossible to account for Hawkes who didn't mind blood magic, like ones who were blood mages themselves and romanced Merrill. That's a ridiculous thing to (dis)miss. Just have one more tile in the Keep, since they knew blood magic would be one of the only things Hawke has an opinion on in DA:I. Preferably, a tile for their opinion of the Wardens too, but I think any Hawke who didn't like Wardens would come out of nowhere.
