I'm warning you, its long its the reason I put it in the spoiler tags. All codex links go to the Dragon Age Wiki.

Spoiler

TL;DR

The archdemons are pieces of the Evanuris corrupted by the taint that Cory brought from the fade, that corruption was either:

red lyrium from the void that had infected the golden / black city. The void was once a titan, that had either died or become corrupted through magical means like being buried by Mythal using her magical orb of destruction just as the lyrium beneath the temple of scared ashes had become corrupted thanks to the combine magic of cory and the orb.

Or
Magic that had festered within the golden city, as i believe the city would have contain massive amounts of lyrium.

This is the taint / blight that we know today in the games. This is the taint that turned the old god dragons (who are pieces of the Evanuris) into archdemons. These Archdemons use darkspawn because they can't tell the difference between Darkspawn and elves, because darkspawn sing the same song as archdemons (speak the same laungage) plus blight kinda messes up your mind.

They rampage across thedas as archdemons hunting down Solas, because this (thedas) is their land they wish to get rid of all intruders (non elves) and will destroy everything in their path.

So the blight did not come first, red lyrium came first.

At least that's my tin foil hat theory, There are probably so many things wrong with this silly theory.

Read the beginning, skimmed the rest.

Your ideas are similar to others; however, I don't think you are taking into account the anathema the blight is to beings of the Fade. It is just outright confusing and scary to spirits and demons.

The blight seems to be an antithesis to the Fade. Souls can go through it (Cory, Archdemons), magic can be brought from it (emissaries, the First Enchanter in The Calling novel), and yet instead of making life more vibrant like the Fade can, it just twists life and chokes it out.

There also seems to be enchantments that can repel the blight (a dagger and sword shown so far) or accelerate it (The Calling novel). I'm not so sure on the Fade, but maybe whatever Solas did to create the Veil is similar to the enchantments that repel the blight.

I'm not too convinced on the Old Gods are the Elf Gods thing, it could work, but it is just a theory (one that's been around a while).

Still, nice theory, the idea of a blighted Titan is scary, as killing it would greatly harm the world, so those special enchantments would probably have to be used to cure it... maybe something like with what happened to Fiona.

Yeah I'm sorry its long, truly!

I don't think the blight affects spirits or the fade because its not "alive", at least I don't think they are. And for being use "pass through the fade" I assume it was the viel that twisted them not the fade. Sort of like trying to fit through a safety net and having to twist yourself up to fit through it!

I don't understand what you mean by a dagger and sword can repel the blight? How is that possible * I need to read the calling.

Yeah its been around for a while, But I didn't say they are the elven gods just pieces of the eleven gods. But its a theory I like, like how demons are the opposite of spirts etc. its a nice sense of balance.

See this is why we need Sandal back! But seriously if enchantments can save us from the blights as you suggest then perhaps he is the best guy to bring back!

I don't know why people keep equating Razikale with Dirthamen, especially now that we know Razikale is female. Dirthamen is clearly Dumat, too many hints for him not to be.

A thought...

The forgotten ones are known as the gods of disease, plague, pestilence, terror, spite and malevolence, no?

They're also supposed to reside in the Void which houses something that tainted Andruil and the lands that she returned to till Mythal cured her, no?

The Creators only became known as "gods" after an unknown war, no?

Tin-foil at the moment, but I have a feeling that the forgotten ones and the old Tevinter gods are one in the same. The difference from the casual story of Archdemon corruption? They were already tainted and that's why they were sealed deep underground. It's possible that the Forgotten Ones possessed Great Dragons or took Dragon Form in their war and were sealed underground trapped in that form.

But being mages, they still had a connection to the Fade even after Fen-Harel created the Veil and used that connection to convince the Imperium to worship and listen to them. Then after many generations, they lured the Tevinter magisters towards the Black/Golden City where the taint was stored or even originated. This also meant that the darkspawn that resulted from the Second Sin were controlled by the Forgotten gods so that they could be freed and wreck vengeance on the world. Once the darkspawn were guaranteed to be created, the Forgotten Ones no longer spoke to the Imperium and merely waited underground to be freed.

Vengeance for what? Vengeance against humans for destroying Arlathan; Vengeance against the Creators for sealing them away; or Vengeance on Fen-Harel for cutting off the Fade from the world. Either way, their own taint perverted and twisted the sealed gods until they became the Archdemons hellbent on wiping out Thedas and destroying/corrupting all in their path.

It also explains why the Architect failed to convert an old god. The old god already has it's free will, it's already tainted, and having Uthemiel succumb to control by a creature that he ultimately created was bound to fail. However, the 5th Archdemon may have been awoken/freed prematurely and that's why it's blight was laughably short even if still devastating to Ferelden.

So in sealing away the Creators and then going on a power-nap, Solas inadvertedly left the world vulnerable to the Slumbering Forgotten Ones and apparently forgot about keeping their taint from surfacing.

I'm not going to address the rest of your post because it would take m too long and tomorrow I plan to write up all my theories anyways, but I think you have some of the representations wrong for the old gods and their respective pantheon gods.

Dumat=Dirthamen

Also check the parallels within The chant of light and with what we know of the Evanuris

Spoiler

The demons appeared to the children of earth in dreams, and named themselves gods, demanding fealty

"As you crave the earth, the earth shall be your domain"

"To the pretender gods once more"

I also think it's more complicated than we know, but anyways, Since I'm not getting into the thick of it I'll just say thanks for sharing. Interesting theories :)

Oh and I don't think those who whispered were actually the Pantheon, but rather The Forgotten Ones posing as Old Gods.

The God of Pestilence could very well be Malvernis.

One thing that does not compels in this OG=Evanuris theory atm if it is true then why did Flemet(Mithal) and Solas were so oppose to killing them off? Considering most likely Solas created veil out of necessity cause i doubt that he can take Solas VS Evanuris. And now Solas hates Wardens for killing OG wich Evanuris by theory, in advance? Flemet(Mithal) sends soul of one who killed her through eluvian somewere safe?
