I was in a perilous pug and this player on zoning just stood there as we cleared our way through the zones. Needless to say he/she was a level 1. A couple of times they died with mobs going back to kill him/her. I went back once to kill the mob(s) that were attacking. When we arrived at the final zone and needed to place the banner, suddenly the player came to life in order for the game to continue.

 

Now, I hate kicking people, but this was just taking the £$%^. So I stood out of the banner area until the other player (there was only a total of three in the group) joined my kick vote.

 

As we all know some players with bad connections can take time to load in a zone, and I am always very patient. This however was blatant leeching. I will carry new/level 1's/low stat players quite often preferably if they have a mic and then at least we can have a chat or a laugh, but this got me really annoyed.

 

I was really surprised how angry I felt, I killed the commander with some zeal

 

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Wow, that's bad, I shall watch for this. I have had occassions when I have soloed a game and when it came to the end stats screen there was another player there. After returning to the main screen they had gone.

Did you also kick the gold leechers?  The ones that run ahead to kill stuff and never break a pot or open a chest door?

If you dont like what a player does thow up that skull ......

 

But to hold up a match in an attempt to force your will on one player its a good way to get those skulls on you

 

Try doing a mic check b4 you ready  up an play with mic only to avoid these players

By that logic you are leaching xp if you run around and break open all the pots while the rest of your team kills.  Its a group effort, neither is leaching if they are contributing in one way or another.

Yes, ironic.

 

Well, if he/she had not kicked within about 30 seconds (which they did), I would have left anyways.

 

And I always say hi through the mic to players, letting then know that I use a mic. However, most players I come across never speak.
