I got an amulet that gives the knight enchanter ability of getting barrier on dealing damage.

And you use the image button, like this.

Looks like the shipment rewards are actually good. Like really good. I still don't know what an electricity mine does however. Is it just a damage mine?
I guess we'll fine out.

Yes, shipment rewards can be awesome if you're lucky... or if you save before getting it and reload if it's crap.

 

Either way I found many amazing amulets (with Amulet of Aggression for my tank probably being my favourite), weapons on different levels and schematics. If you're in need of certain FT material and can't get it, it's also possible way to get it. So I think it's worth having at least one trial switched on

Not I no. I did grab some sigils from Champions of the Just so those can be found in the base game. Not sure about the T4 Tresspasser stuff however.

Since latest patch you're not required to play that mini game to get those items.

There was a minigame at Dragon Age official site that after completing it rewarded you with Red Lyrium Reapers weapons for your game. Now you don't need to do this.

I've been reload-spamming the chest for a while and got a bow itemlevel 23 that places elemental mines at the target's position. Pretty cool.

Only skyhold which is dumb because they are low-level.

IIRC you get them after recruiting Dagna, which means Skyhold.

I gave solas ring which place him in invisibility mode while not in combat... pretty good

 

I think it was an attempt to make crafted item less glorious then they were...

though Hidden strike on 10% chance with 9 hits is something I like to spread amongst my team members... also glorious fade touched silverite.

Definitely. Sure, the special shipment uniques can't hold a candle against the stats of crafted items but they offer interesting options. I'm using a frost staff with perma-chill effect in melee range and 50% physical+frost resistence. Because of the perma-chill you have ice armor all the time providing 50% damage resistence on top. Also Winter's Grasp always hits for 1000% weapon damage due to perma-chill.

 

Kudos to Bioware for providing such options.

Yes, you can get it in vanilla game.
