I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but all my characters have just black holes for eyes. Also both of my armors (the default one and the Inferno) are showing up completely black. I figured these two problems might be connected, although I don't know for sure.
The problems are just aesthetic; the game itself runs fine. I just get kinda freaked out when no one in the universe has eyes...
My specs:
Processor: Intel Core2Duo T7300 @ 2.00GHz
Clock Speed: 1994 MHz
Physical Memory: 1.96 GB
Display Adapter: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M
VRAM: 128MB
Driver Version 11.55
OS: Vista Business
DirectX: DirectX 10.0 (Mar2009) or later
ME2 No eyes & all armors are black

go onto the ea help forum and they will help you fix it. my drivers weren't up to date. see if that's the problem.

Reading the system requirements before you buy a game is recommended. You need a gaming card. This is a business card and below the minimum system requirements.mamung wrote...

Drivers and / or Dx9. For an nVIDIA / Sony laptop, there had been sources other than that pair. Omega has always been reliable, but when no laptop maker was cooperating with nVIDIA, there were a couple of sources for laptop users specifically. A fast search with Google didn't turn up anything familiar, however.mamung wrote...

(Edited in here): I continued looking around, and this place is one of those, and this article is about what they are doing to re-enable the "generic" nVIDIA driver sets:
forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/8128-what-is-a-modded-inf-what-is-the-performance-and-quality-inf/
I already had found a video that purports to show a work-around to use nVIDIA's drivers anyway:
www.metacafe.com/watch/325728/how_to_update_nvidia_display_drivers_on_a_laptop_computer/
Laptops just aren't officially supported for most games, and the truth is, they are definitely not optimal as gaming platforms.

My Card is a:
nVidia Geforce 8400M GT
Is this one too low aswell? I could have sworn is was a least 256?!
Also I have no lag with the game at all, it runs flawlessly with dialog working perfectly, it really is just as if the eyes are not being mapped to the characters and some armour is just coming up jet black!

Neither the AGE (it's over three years old now, though), nor the onboard VRAM has major affect on performance. A three year old High End card is almost always better than a brand new Low End business graphics drudge of a card.
Core speed, memory speed, memory banmdwidth, and count of shader units are important. See the article about the Big RAM Scam:
