Yes, it perceives them to attack them. After it stops attacking, who knows? It probably still sees them but does it know or think anything?

More precisely, it first looks at the soldier, and then looks past the soldier to the departing Reapers. Note that the soldier actually turns to see what the husk is looking at.

I don't see how something with only animal intelligence ends up doing that.

So your an animal now?

There is still an intelligence being shown. How great that intelligence actually is, is rather debatable. Considering it was created from a human body and was altered with nano tech the potential intelligence is rather high. Might start off child like but should be able to grow and develop.

So that guy that is seen at the beginning of ME1 that gets the spike through his body would be alive if it was him that was seen looking at the soldier? Nope.

Yes, humans are animals. And all animals are intelligent to an extent. The rest of that post is laughable, more so than your usual nonsense.

Laughable how? What data supports your statement the rest is laughable?

That i laughed at it. Wait, why do i need to give data? I didn't even come out of nowhere and claim to be the brain behind your enemy.

All we about husks is that they are Mindless killing machines with a lot of the organic material, which includes the brain, replaced by Tech. You have absolutely no basis for what you said and the small amount of evidence says the opposite.

In Sanctuary, one of the newly transformed Husks appears to speak, and cry out in her new form. Not mindless; dominated, which seems to be of no further need after Synthesis.
