But I'd **** myself IRL if I had to fight some eight foot tall super heavyweight.

Yeah it was fun. They were tough, they had cool armor, they were generally bigger than you and the female rogues were dope AF. The saarebas felt like a magical weapon and not just like another mage.

The spear throwers had a tri-horn going on, the females had curly horns, and the big brawler had none it would seem.
And playing with tac cam the saarebas have cut horns.
Loved it!
And....they really want me to create a new qunari inquisitor - Reaver? Tempest? Artificer? Champion?
However i heard there is very little dialogue unique to a qunari -vashoth inquisitor.
A shame, as i think they did a marvelous job with Cadash in The Descent

Almost as satisfying as the Bren-machinegun-dwarves from Descent splattering themselves on Aegis of the Rift.

They very politely charge right into my shiny new triple fire mines. So yes, I do like fighting them. All that instant barrier...

Yeah. I loved killing them.
Mindless drones that would break Sera's mind and turn her into a husk. They all fell. One. By. One.
I quite liked the sight of so many dead qunari after each battle. For all their airs superiority they sure hit the ground like everyone else.
Almost as satisfying as the Bren-machinegun-dwarves from Descent splattering themselves on Aegis of the Rift.

Was a blast. I do hope that in the next game we have more variation in our Qunari horn styles, and hair.

Loved it as well. Anyone else think that if/when there is a DA4 it might actually be more about fighting the Qun than Solas? They've hinted at moving north for the next game...

I'd expect stopping the Qun while simultaneously looking for Pride.

I really expect the next game will take a break from the whole SOlas thing tbh. I mean he needs time to bring his plan into fruition and the Inquisition needs time to put their plans into motion as well. So Tevinter could all be very political and cut trhoat centering around Dorian Pavus's, and the new PCs, attempt to redeem the Imperium and maybe the Qunari. I expect the next game will do for the Qunari what Inquisition did for Elves, and to some extent Dwarves.

Well, it was more fun than DA2 where all the Sten were bloody tank sponge that took forever.

The qunari also had more armor on this time too.

Yeah I'm really hoping we do explore the origin of the qunari. There is strong ties to dragons. From Bull's theory even to Coles comment about "Your horns are that of a dragon, not a bull."

Mostly for the music,

You know, despite the ridiculous bullet-sponginess, I have to agree. It was a good boss fight.

I heard this voice from the shadows saying something like 'I see you Bas' and it was kinda creepy and oh so awesome.
That made their stealth fighters even creepier and yes, more effective in those battles. More, please!

I loved killing them as well. As someone who likes to rp a mage from Tevinter it really helped with immersion.

They were definitely more interesting to fight than random demons or the Zeus-awful Red Derplars. But I couldn't help but laugh when the Qunari assassins starting whispering questions, asking my Inquisitor if he was afraid of the dark and what-not, to which the Inquisitor responded by lighting up the area and proceeded to cut down the non-scary whispering Qunari. They thought they could smack talk him 'cause KE's got nerfed, but nerf or no nerf - KE's don't play.

I did that same thing...literally when I first heard them I yelled out loud "NO, NOT REALLY" and then just immolated everywhere around me. Plus I had that staff that makes everyone around you on fire, so at one point they started all being these floating balls of flame.
It was fantastic.
I do enjoy fighting the Qunari. There isn't really much to sympathize with them. They're a militant society bent on forcing the rest of Thedas to follow their own belief system, even more so than the Chantry is.. Sure, the Chantry has had Exalted Marches, but not in recent days, and at least the Chantry is open to change.
I do hope we get more than kill-kill on Qunari. I want to meet some of the ones who disagree, some of the Tamassran's like Bull's ala Cole: "He got away...he got away!!"
But I also want to see how brutal Tevinter is to any Qunari, and I want there to be a lot of comparisons between Tevinter and the Qunari. But I don't want more of that "Dangers of magic" crap thats been shoved down everyone's throats the last 3 games. Can we please have some myths about Tevinter squashed, maybe see why the Vints really HAVE to encourage their magic and might in order to even SURVIVE against the Qunari onslaught?

I wanted some sort of intimidate option while talking to the Viddisala. Four Inquisiton members wipe out two qunari outposts, blow up their lyrium mine with their own explosives, and then fight their way through a qunari fortress and a dragon. By the time the Inquisitor is standing before her, covered in blood, she and her soldiers should be freaking the eff out.
In Awakening there was a sidequest where you could deal with a hostage scenario. If the Warden Commander was the Hero of Ferelden, some of the kidnappers would jump off a cliff rather than fight them. Something similar would have been gratifying.

Yep....

Fm Addar Inquisitior: Well, I'm going to turn you into actual ashes, Vashedan- ******.
