Make allies of Tevinter Magisters or powerful Laetans and Lucerni, and gain as much knowledge from Tevinter as possible. Solas greatly underestimated Cory, and Cory was obviously of the blight (an unknown) and human (a known), but he still expected elf magic to be too much for Cory? Cory just needed the blight to survive the explosion, he was handling that orb just fine when he wasn't trying to punch a metaphysical hole into reality.

This just reminded me. How is dear old Avernus doing? I think we may need to pay the good man a visit, don't you?

I would guess him to be dead at this point, if he's not, more knowledge on the blight would be interesting.

 

That would be a pretty dark ending if a PC mage is able to do blight magic like the First Enchanter in The Calling, and uses the magic drawn from the blight to counter Solas and his magic from the Fade.

 

It would be pretty tragic, to resort to the darkest of magics (the unlife or anti-life to the Fade's life) to save the world.

I would start with gathering those with craft/magic close to the old ways: Somniari, Dwarven rune crafter preferably adept as Sandle. Lastly spirits. The right spirits can point to wonders or "things" undiscovered. Solas undid himself by showing my inquisitor how to care, respect, and treat spirits. Twins in shadow, I would mirror Solas and be a keeper of the knowledge gained but (not intentional at first, an unresolved thought)
