Great build. Really captures the flavor of the specialisation too- leaping about the battlefield, bringing on the storm.
If i was to utilise a focus or the aegis ability, which ability would you suggest to swap for?
you have one of two choices that are both based on your own choice of course xD and also your play style, if you really are keeping flask of fire up 100% then get rid of flask of lightning because you just wont be able to use it. the second option is spinning blade, compared to the other abilities of this role which are high burst quick killing spinning blades just isnt that, i put it in the build both for aoe and another gap closer or a retreat method. personally I would take out spinning blades cause there are those moment when lightning is needed but i hope that helps you make a choice ![]()
Cheers and thanks.
I find that i really like flask of lightning when using spinning blades. Feels like im a storm.
I use the ice taunt to bring them into range, shatter with twing fangs, then the thunderstruck and spinning blades combo. Sooo fun.
Sounds epic, im builds are always guidelines and fit for a specific style, in this case jumping every where and quickly killing everything xD but thats just how i like to play it
ice taunt and shatter sounds awesome ![]()
Thank you for this! While I get more enjoyment out of the standard flask rotating tempest for my dagger build this video enlightened me on an issue I've been having with my archer tempest build. Ever since the new toggle upgrades came to us I've been thinking a lot about Flaming Chain and how I knew it was great but I couldn't figure out how to make it viable. Your answer was evasion, an insanely low cool down ability that when peppered in every other skills allows you to keep up flask of fire permanently. It's brilliant!
I still prefer the burst potential of Unquenchable Flames for my dagger build (shorter animations=more damage) but this fixed my problem for my archer tempest. The biggest struggle with the archer while using Flaming Chain is the longer cool down on most ranged abilities. But if I mix in either Evade or even Hook and Tackle (cost and cooldown free) all of a sudden you never have to worry about stamina. This is still a build of mine in progress, and I don't want to derail the thread which is about a dagger set up, just wanted to thank you for your video.
