Sometimes im not sure if its good if new players start with SP. They got used to pausing the game, having time dilations etc. etc. They can evolve so many bad habits that does not help multiplayer at all. of course i'd rather have a player in my lobby who completed the SP instead of someone who never even touched it.
Sounds like me. MP was like a revelation and a discovery of a different way to play the game.
It's always good to have new players. Most BSNers should be able to carry Gold by now so doesn't really matter if we have a couple of newbies.

indeed, but constantly having no gear 0 n7 juggernauts in my lobbies is annoying.

I rarely host and when it becomes ridiculous I just hop lobbies and no strings attached.
