i don't know if this is the correct forum to post, but it's a big problem for me. is there a way to make the hair and beards more natural? without being too shiny? it seems they put too much oil...

Depends on your PC Settings. I'm told that at lower settings, it's horrendous. Shiny hair doesn't bother me as much as translucent hair *looks at femshep*.

There is a mod: http://www.nexusmods...ion/mods/704/? I would NEVER EVER play again without it.

 

And you go to Options, Grafics - the Button at the end, last one. If you move him you can see a difference ingame.Give it a try.
