Blood Magic is not inherently evil - Ive heard more then a few Mages say this have said this  . Although, I would love to have it in DA4 just for the reaction that Im sure some people will have, since the games seem to be focusing more on little things like your Specialization and stuff now

For me the problem with blood magic is that within the lore it is a really, really big deal. I'm not talking about whether its actually evil or not, just that its perceived that way. Practising it in most of Thedas will at the least get you made Tranquil (though controlling Mages is somewhat up in the air admittedly), and even in Tevinter full on blood magic isn't openly practised.

So while I'm not against having it back in game, I just hope they treat it in a way that makes sense for the lore already established. I'd also really like to get the occasional option in conversation and/or outside of combat to influence people with it etc. Done well it could add a load really interesting options to a game, just a question of how you'd balance that kind of content with other specialisations.
