Which platform?
If for Xbox/PS3, at some point when logging in to the game online it would have asked you to register with EA, a process which either creates an Origin account and links it to your ME 3 manifest, or associates your existing Origin Account with your ME 3 manifest (assuming that you used the same e-mail address for both.)
It is possible that you may need the accounts merged.
