Then I will add the last good RPG studio to the "DEAD-to-me" list.

Bruce CampbellIf this happens.
1. Witcher 4 is now in development (we never stop a money train at EA) as the next EA/CDPR game. 2 year dev time, cus we do not care about making good games here at EA.
2. Geralt is now a transgender. Half the characters in Witcher are now LBGTQLMNOP. All women characters are now given narrower hips, broader shoulders, wider chins and we gave them all short hair. We basically made them men. Just like DA:I. We do this kind of junk so we can call anyone who does not like our game “phobic”. At EA we do not care about anyone, we just want to irritate our main source of income, while attacking them if they do not like our games. Soon people will be afraid to critique any game we make, because people are mental midgets and afraid of a label based on thin air. Also we have loonies defend out games to the death. They are like free advertising. People like Sam Maggs.
Besides with people fighting among themselves about our bad game? They can’t rally against us. We are brilliant aren’t we?
3. Free DLC? Yeah we are putting a stop to that @%#%. We will be chopping up the main plot like we did on Mass Effect 2 and 3.
4. Cyberpunk 2077 will now be a MMO. We made money off cut scenes/trailers with SWTOR, we can do the same with this game. CDPR’s name attached will sell the game like Bioware sold SWTOR. CDPR made a good trailer we can work with that.
It isn't happening, so.
a nightmare
Hope it will never happen
This rumor has already been put down
Another company that would go down the toilet. EA basically assimilates and destroys any company it takes in. Bioware is one of those rare instances where its still functional unlike some other good companies EA has bought out.
It would have been both hilarious and scary
Yeah, I doubt that's gonna happen, and a good thing too; I can't wait for a Cyberpunk 2077 made with the same principles that Witcher 3 were based on ![]()

Good example of someone veering between almost reasonable and outright nonsensical. I'd rather have been without it, honestly ![]()
If EA bought CDProjekt RED and made Witcher 4...
DAT Gwent choice LMAO.
But in all seriousness it would be god damn awful. Terrible even. It's far better for the market if they compete.
I would cry...
Looking at ME3, DA2 and DAI, which are good games, but not nearly as good as the pre-EA games I would def. cry.
I think a takeover by EA is bad for everyone...
Now look at the Star Wars license... that does not look to good also... after that gamespot gameplay from (I think) yesterday I can say, that Battlefront looks really really bad!
Neither the visuals, nor the spastic strafing looks impressive...

Dat sword hilt though ![]()
Might improve the combat. If EA bought CDProjekt RED and made Witcher 4

Spoiler
That reads like the sort comment an idiot would make.
From a development standpoint, if they want to add any features from other games into their future games, buying a company is an expensive way to do this.
Yet another studio EA wil buy and kill.
That reads like the sort comment an idiot would make.
Indeed. ![]()
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
That reads like the sort comment an idiot would make.
It reads like a joke comment parodying some of the silly and sillier posts the forums have seen in semi-recent times like the Cassandra-is-a-man-debacle and the accusations of pandering while also adding reoccuring things like the Bruce Campbell mentions in relation to the you-know-what from the Trespasser DLC and old complaints like EA's poorer business decisions.
Knowing forums and people, it seems safe to consider both interpretations, joke or sincere, as valid interpretations.
in The Witcher 3? It's far better than how DA:I does it
It's an entirely different gameplay genre. Of course there's overlap in the fanbase, but if someone skips it because they don't like playing action games, I can't necessarily fault them.
I happen to think its a lot of fun, but you can't compare it to DAI, unless you think the gameplay of Tetris can be validly compared to street fighter.
I'm just talking about how they do combat. It's a lot more involved than how it is in DA:I more up close and personal.
I'm not here to discuss DA:I vs The Witcher 3 though. Both are fun games.
It's not happening, but for fan tears the speculation is delicious.
Action combat has no place in a roleplaying game.in The Witcher 3? It's far better than how DA:I does it
