If nudity makes more sense than clothing then they should go with nudity. If there's another shower scene with bra and panties I'll probably just drop the game.
Hahaha, this was funny. I agree.

All nudity had to be cut so they could get the proper animations and special effects for beheadings, disembowlings, being tossed into lava, being burned alive in a shuttle crash, being shot by robots, being shot by krogans, being back handed by krogans, having your innards spilt, being run over by the mako being hit by a two handed sword, having fountains of blood spurt everywhere. You can't include everything you know.
If it is appropriate to the scene and handled in a tasteful way, then they shouldn't shy away from using it.
If they want to avoid it, they should do so with camera angles, not by having the characters in underwear when they should be naked.
I agree with this 100%.
Killroy is insensitive to the plight of nevernudes.
Ironically I'm practically a never-nude. Showering and sexy times are the only moments you'll find me nude. Sometimes not even for sexy times...
As far as romance scenes go, I don't have a preference. Just like in film you can have good scenes with or without nudity. The more important issue is that if nudity is in the game that it shouldn't feel gratuitous, and if the devs opt not to include nudity that the scenes should still seem natural. Nudity should be implied with the latter but obscured by camera angles or lighting, rather than having scenes similar to Traynor's clothed showering or characters putting their bras back on to sleep.
Having said that I don't have a preference for whether or not nudity is in the game...I do however take issue with games that portray graphic violence or include gore yet shy away from showing skin in scenes where it would be natural for those characters. Be consistent. Either show explicit content or don't, and don't get bogged down in a double standard. Apply the same standard to both portrayals of sex and violence.
If they have nudity, they're objectifying misogynist perverts. If they don't, they're shaming misogynist prudes. Their target audience won't be happy no matter what they do.
. . .What if they go halvsies? Have a quad is a pair and all that? ![]()
I for one hope my character is able to walk around 24 7 completely buck naked, I mean what's the point in being a space captain of you can't hang brain on your own ship, not to mention that a decent mass effect field ought to be able to eliminate the need for protective clothing planet side. That just leaves moral objections, and I'm sure that in the future people will be much less uptight about a little nudity here and there, specially since you've already got stuff like hanar going around skint like it's no big deal.
Actually, in the canon it specifically states that personal mass effect field generators can't protect people from temperature, pressure, radiation, etc. It only protects you from fast moving objects. It was designed that way since if they made it stronger the wearer wouldn't be able to touch anything or do things like sit in a chair.
Not for it, not against it. Not for exploding heads, not against them.
I don't think it really adds anything, whether it is nudity or over the top violence. But I'm not offended by it.
Okay, after a 5-6 fingers of whiskey I do find the violence kind of funny.

Training bras and panties are the new rage in the future.
If it serves a purpose and it's not just fanservice, go for it. I actually liked how DA:I dealt with nudity, but I feel like ME demo is perphaps a bit younger, so they might prefer to go back to clothed sex.
Whatever the case, there's no way they'll go full Witcher, which is fine by me. ![]()
Seems like alot of people have a fetish for naked aliens, typical of this fandom.
I don't mind either way, I thought the romance scene with Shepard and Kaidan in the first ME is perfectly done, it was more like a naked silhouette which looked nice and was tasteful as far as I'm concerned. For just plain nude scenes, I thought DAI did a pretty good job, it wasn't just "lol boobs" it was just like a quick shot and not thrown in your face. I don't mind nudity in general though, as others have mentioned I don't see why people are so outraged by a naked body but graphic violence is just dandy.
I don't think Bioware will shy away from it. They get criticism from prudish people regardless of having full frontal nudity or not.
While some think that nudity does not mean mature, avoiding nudity is even more immature in a sense that "ew, nekkid bodies". In a game where you kill people and see people die in a violence way, nudity somehow is worse than killing and genocide. There is nothing shameful about being nude, people need to stop treating it like a plague or something.
The problem is the world's major societies have built up the idea that Nudity = Sex and Sex = bad/shameful.

Will ME:A be over 16 or over 18 ? Does somebody know?
As long as it's tasteful, it's okay by me. I mean there is a good chance the game is going to be rated M. So it will be made for adults.
Sorry, this mean?
