Seems like alot of people have a fetish for naked aliens, typical of this fandom.

I don't see why not, it's an 18 rated game anyway plus I think blowing people's heads off is worse than seeing a naked body.
'Cause 'Merica.

That said, I also don't think there's a good reason to not show nudity. I mean the game's mature and that stuff is more natural then blowing someone's head off with a shotgun. So if they do it tastefully then ya I'm all for it and fox news can go **** themselves.

The urge to cover our own genitals and the female breasts is a human concept, comparing to animals that is. I see no logical reason that every alien species would follow our own human prudishness when it comes to nudity. There is no reason not to have nudity in the game as long as it is done maturely.

As long as it's done for romance stuff and not fanservice every two steps, sure.

When nudity is done tastefully and well it adds quite a bit to a game. Of course, nudity can very easily be done wrong as well.

Yeah, especially if partial nudity is used when full nudity or armor is needed.Of course, nudity can very easily be done wrong as well.

The ESRB seems to view naked backsides and nude sideboob as partial nudity, because that was what was included in the original Mass Effect's ESRB rating. If Andromeda had nudity it probably wouldn't need to be anything more graphic than that.

Nudity where it makes sense would be great. Like avoiding another Traynor bathing in her undies deal, never heard of anyone pass the age of 9 that hops into a shower with clothes on sometimes (Or maybe I was just a weird kid). So if it makes sense for a character to be nude in the situation then by all means make 'em nude.

Yah, I mean... Life Is Strange did it. Of course, they only show her shoulders and above. But still. And that game's not sexual at all.
EDIT : And I would be fine with that. IMO, if you don't wanna show any nudity, please. Don't. If you do, then do. I'm an adult and can handle these things. *shrug*

The urge to cover our own genitals and the female breasts is a human concept, comparing to animals that is.
It wasn't even something that was consistent for all human cultures. Ancient Greek athletes competed naked for example, and this used to be the height of fashion for Minoan noblewomen. Ancient Greek, Roman, and Indian art often depicted people having sex, and would probably be labelled pornographic if produced by a modern artist. Ect, Ect.
Current squeamishness regarding nudity and sex is an entirely Judeo-Christian/Islamic thing.

This may be a major reason; that they believe they should be set apart (ie; Holy) from the cultures surrounding them. And considering that these beliefs pre-date the Greek, Roman, Indian, and Egyptian cultures, it is likely not a squeamish issue, but one based out of pride, honor, and shame.

Probably not as much reason for the characters to be nude in a sci-fi setting as there would be in a medieval setting
Why? As far as I know the reproduction process in the far future is still the same as it was in the far past...
