As a habitual lurker (unless there are smiths jokes to be made + drinking), I'd like to assure you of your pillar-hood. I enjoy reading your posts and have shamefully stolen/utilized alot of your comments and advice. So thanks for that.

I don't know how I feel about being quoted or being used as a source of information/advice.  I feel like many of the things I say are very likely severely biased from a Promotion Lord's perspective.  I may need to get to work some sort of disclaimer or something.

 

I get so jealous seeing all those hakkon great swords around. I keep salvaging bows and 1 hand swords to keep my chances higher and still no great sword. The one I want the most by far. But the staff and dagger are nice. The GS or the new axe are definitely my top 2 wants.

 

I swear, all I ever hear out of Pronto's mouth anymore is "Hey, look, that [ insert 2-handed warrior here ] has the greatsword."  It's funny, because I really don't care anymore.  He cares so much more about my lack of a Hakkon's Valor than I do.

 

If the new axe you are talking about is the Dancer's Axe, I have it, and it is glorious.  Sometimes, when I activate Rampage and I have a speed buff from a Virtuoso or a Saarebas, I just use the whirlwind auto-attack instead of Dragon Rage.  Just because.

Not sure how I will react, or if I will at all.  After many of our games I just tell everyone in our group that I got my Valor and that we don't need to keep running dragons.  In fact, after our last game tonight I said that, and one of my buddies says "Yeah, how many did you get tonight? Six?"  That's probably what I will do, and no one will know the difference.

Personally, I'm surprised that this many people even take that much of a passing interest in my lack of a Hakkon's Valor.  It's not like I'm a pillar of the Dragon Age TESO community like DragonRacer is.

Calm down, calm down, I will cut into thirds so you can have a chunk as well. Snakebite gets the head, front shoulders and legs, you can have the torso loaf, and I will keep the rear flanks for...uh...reasons.

Uhh... thanks, but no.  I think I will hold out for a better pay-off than half of a stuffed toy.

 

Update: 7 more dragons on Nightmare and above today.  I got a whole lotta nuthin'.

I don't usually like to watch other people game but enjoyed watching DR trying for the ring -- rooting for her.  No wonder we're not in synch schedule wise -- you're three hours behind me.  By the time you get started, I'm sleepy.

Ok, let's get in on this... September 28th, first day of my vacation where I'll have plenty of time to F5 the forums and go "is it there yet?".

 

Also, hopefully the Plush won't be available so soon as I'd rather have the bag so I can call people menials with more authority.

Well, we just got done running 15 more Nightmare dragons tonight.  Lil Mantis joined us for about 10 of them, and we even got a game in against Druffy n' Friends!  Pronto scored 4 new items, I got nothing.  Typical.

Ran 7 more dragons today, still no Valor.  For some reason, I am seeing more and more BSNers in my games.  HeroicMass carried us to a few easy victories early on in the day.  We joined Kissraven later, and we decided to run some Heartbreakers in between each dragon fight to break up the tedium.  We kept rolling Venatori  ... but we did manage to get some good times.

 

 

It's amazing how much easier it is when you get the map with the stairway in zone 5!

 

Here's the game we did after that.  It's a little faster, but I just think Saarebas is much more interesting to watch than the Silent Sister.

 

 

I'm not quite sure how we ended up turning it into a night of Heartbreaker games.  Probably just Pronto's way of keeping me from killing enough dragons to get the Valor before October 10^th.
