Well at least you now have the best weapon in the game.  I got your invite lat night but I have been trying hard to finish up the single player campaign which I have put off for far too long.

I wonder if something is bugged with the droprate because there is 'this guy' that I have run around 10 NM dragon runs with (and he's done NM dragon runs with other people.. maybe 50?!?)... he still haven't gotten a single Hakkon weapon.

 

Thats some shitty luck if he is supposed to have 15% on first weapon drop. Yes, he is way above the 800 item limit required for Hakkons.

Well, looking back at all my posts since this started about two weeks ago, I have killed 92 dragons.  My tally marks I keep when actually playing show an extra day where I did 6 that I did not record here, but I'm not sure where it came from because it is in between the 25th and 26th.  Oh well.

 

So, 92 dragons in 14 days is roughly 6.5 runs a day.  I have been playing a lot less than I used to this past month.  For example, Patch 1.09 went live on July 6th, and I was at about 200 when I got my 4th, which was on July 17th.  That's about 20 games a day.

 

I stopped counting at 350 runs, and that was about 2 weeks ago. I still only have 4. That's sort of impressive, right?

 

 

Judging by this post, I had 350 runs around the 8th of August, probably a bit before that considering that it only comes out to around 7 dragons a day since I obtained my 4th.

 

My first month was about 350.  My second month was a bit slower seeing as disappointment was setting in, so lets say 200.  I took a two week break from Ferelden Castle from about the last week of August through the first week of September.  In September, I have done 92 in the past two weeks, and let's say 35 for the week before Parthian made this thread.  That all comes out to about 670.

 

This was very depressing to work out.

They ought to give HeartBreaker a really good droprate for all prerequisite items for the 9000 weapon. At least everyone will know that once they are heartbreaker ready, then they can actually get a decent shot at an endgame item. Risk vs. Reward!

Just wondering something. How are you doing with the Descent and level 27 weapons? Has the rng shared any of those or not yet? I know that while I've been lucky with the Hakkons, I'm still missing 2 of the former and all of the latter. In fact outside of the belts, I've gotten nothing new from the recent additions. So curious to see how stingy it may be with the other items too.

Descent weapons were not very good to me.  Up until the new level 27 weapons came out, I had 2 of the purples and 2 blues for the others.  As soon as the new level 27s came out, they started rolling in quickly.  Now I am only missing the purple longsword.

 

Of the level 27 weapons, I only have the Dancer's Axe after 900,000 gold spent.  It has served me well.
