Installed the game, newest video drivers, and DLC (GameStop retail pre-order) and when I attempt to launch the game, my screen goes black for a second and then I get a "Mass Effect 2 has stopped working" error window with the usual "Check for solutions to the problem" and "Close the program" options.  The "check for solutions" option does nothing.

This is the copy/paste from the error window:
General protection fault!

History: GImage::GImage() Address = 0x894505   (filename not found) [in C:\\\\Program Files (x86)\\\\Mass Effect 2\\\\Binaries\\\\MassEffect2.exe]
GImage::GImage() Address = 0x894505   (filename not found) [in C:\\\\Program Files (x86)\\\\Mass Effect 2\\\\Binaries\\\\MassEffect2.exe]

I have an extremely high-end computer and should not be having these issues.  Here are my specs:
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU    Q6600  @ 2.40GHz
5.99 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768 MB (2x in SLI)
Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Ultimate 64-bit
DirectX 10.0  (Mar2009) or later

Check to make sure your Mass Effect 2 file is 11.4gbs.

Nevermind, a simple reinstall seems to have fixed this one. Weird. Carry on!
