Extended mags, HVB, drill rounds, Destroyer (no adrenaline).
Effective? Probably not. Hilarious? Definitely. Bonus points for "running" with the pizza.

Thank you for sharing this! I have never been a fun of the Spitfire, but I gave it a go on your build (I play the GT flamerless anyway), and I found it super fun and effective. The only tweak was to forgo the Piranha in favour of the GPS; granted, it's weird to see the AP ammo icon over it
, but beside the lore-friendliness, I found its stagger to be invaluable for getting out of sticky situations. I ended up facing Collectors, got my 20 headshots medal, and taking a Praetorian down from full health without ever having to stop firing is just badass, the continuous damage output keeps forcing it backwards, and it only has time to shoot lasers once before going down - which you can easily take. Synthetics trashing organics, at least this round
the linked build has one flaw. using stronghold package with shield power cells makes more sense then shield booster V. You can have almost instant shield recharge. -15% from fortification -15% from fitness -12% from stronghold package and -30% from shield power cells III.

Not for me: thanks to Hunter mode and Fortification, you already have an almost instant shield recharge. No need to add more shield recharge bonus, it's pointless: the +30% shield with shield booster, imo, is better than +20% shield, at least with those bonuses on shield recharge.
If you really have to : Thermal Scope for easy headshots, Ex Barrel , Barrage Upgrade + AP 4. Use it on the GI, GS, Destroyer, or any Infiltrator. Take Scorpion secondary. Everytime you have move more than 5 meters, switch to a different weapon.
Also works on the Drell Adept with Warp Ammo 4.
Optionally, if drunk^high and with atleast one competent friend : Volus Vanguard + Incendiary Ammo 4.
Imo, the best use for the Spitfire is with a Flamerless Geth Trooper: speecing him as a weapon platform, allows for the highest damage achievable with the Spitfire.
Armor piercing ammo, extended barrel and extended mag, allows you to bunker down and keep position better than Gandalf (You shall not PASS!).
Only problem may be flanking: switch to a Pirhana to kill everything near you, relocate, and repeat.
Also, flamer geth trooper is boring as hell.
Pretty sure the Turians are equal or better than the trooper when it comes to either sustained damage or 'highest achievable'.
The stiff hipped soldier has better weapon damage passives and a higher RoF bonus (and therefor a higher multiplicative bonus). Marksman's accuracy and autoreload features are excellent for the Spitfire -- see my Qsoldier link above. I like the Qsoldier better for the spitfire, but that has less to do with game mechanics and more to do with role playing crazy quarians picking up geth guns on the battlefield.
The ghost gets that nice extended bonuses on assault rifles from cloak that lasts about as long as an extended magazine, plus his usual cloak bonus for the first few seconds, plus the option of 9 seconds of damage bonus from his stim packs. Harder for him to keep up the bonuses than the Tsol, but still pretty bad ass.
I'll definitely try the geth trooper build though. He's at least competitive with the turians and I have used him as a weapon platform in a while; he's usually set up in my livery as a melee kit with near instant shield recharge.

Destroyer Spitfire is the best kit by a longshot out of the higher fire rate kits. Seriously don't bother with the other ones because of Combat Walk speed (movement speed while holding fire button of weapon) of most kits are too weak to allow any movement while firing weapons like Spitfire, Revenant & Stryker. As you really don't want to let go of the trigger to much with the Spitfire. Just walk and talk and strafe is basically the name of the game.
The only kits with good Combat Speeds are; Destroyer, Jug, Batarian, Jetpack Turians & Volus all have 200 Combat Walk Speeds. Krogans are in second with a bit less (KroLord Spitfire is nice and something I use for when I want a faster Spitfire Juggernaut. Just use your magic hammer or running heavy melee every now and then to put you back in rage mode, then continue with the Spitfire and tank it up like a Jug).

Respectfully disagree. According to Kalence (which isn't always 100% correct with numbers, but based on my own personal experiences I believe it's correct in this case), with only fort + geth fitness (HM does nothing for shield recharge), your shield recharge is 2.4 seconds. Add stronghold and power cells 3, it's less than a second. Imo, the extra half of a second that stronghold shaves off your recharge is more important than the extra 100 shields shield booster would give in this instance.
In my opinion there is a much better build than the juggernault : try it on a geth infliltrator, that's quite a powerhouse (tip : take the missile when you want to gos faster) just dont't stay too long in cloak or you'll get some serious cooldown.
Huge dps and so-so mobility thanks to the hunter mode.

Beardy understands. Shield recharge bonuses are distinct from most of the other game mechanics in that it's minimally effected by diminishing returns. The addition of the shield recharge consumable and Stronghold package on the geth trooper have a huge, obvious, tactically significant improvement in shield recharge rate.

You know what, I really like the idea of the insta-recharge Trooper. I have had a lot of fun lately with my instant-recharge PPR Shaman and instant recharge Raider BatSent. I'm thinking something like this: Geth Trooper, with Flamer for short-pulse use in reload-hiding and for extra armor damage.
Why Geth Trooper Spitfire when there's Destroyer Spitfire.
And how Combat Walk speed issues with weapons like Spitfire, Revenant and Striker don't bother anyone else is beyond me. As I cant stand to use these weapons on weak Combat Speed kits.

It's not an either or proposition. I advocated for Marksman builds which are neither either nor neither.
Never cared about the combat walk issues for the Spitfire. Usually I'm enjoying the perks of soft cover near an ammo box and not moving much while firing. I guess I am beyond you. ![]()

Looks snazzy. Personally I keep opting for a flamer/melee build. You lose the "martial artist" 75% melee boost if you opt for shield recharge, but that doesn't interfere too much with the playstyle. Melee still works fine as a way to finish off mooks. Don't expect GI level destruction, but you'll definitely notice the survivability boost from all those recharge moments.
"Note that all Krogan aside from the vanilla Sentinel will not be slowed down by the Spitfire. Batarians will be slowed, but not as much as other classes. In addition,Krogan, the Geth Juggernaut, Batarians, Armiger Legion, Volus, and the N7 Destroyer will not be affected by the additional slowdown you normally receive while firing the Spitfire." foxop.
This makes the krosoldier a beast with no carnage, just specced for incnediary cheese, like this for instance : http://kalence.drupa...34O51364!A.09GG
But Batarians have higher combat walk speeds then Krogans, so that kinda makes up, because you can move and strafe that lawnmower with much greater ease and speeds.
A happy medium is the Jetpack Turians, which also have the highest combat walk speeds. But now you can also use the Jetpack dodge to overcome the slow Sptifire walking penalty (credits goes to Megabeast for this one, where ever he is). So in other words, Spitfire works great on TGI.

Interesting post, I laughed at the "lawnmower". I'll try all those. For the Spitfire TGI I tried it, but I prefer the GI : more raw damage
^ Sure, but you're left a sitting Terminator while suppressing fire.

I'm too lazy to respec my KroSol, but this looks like fun.

This may convince me to play a TGI, even if just for one match to see how this works out.
^ I just thought of doing TGI Black Widow a minute ago. Surprised I haven't done it yet...
And yes, I've KroSol'ed with Spitfire quite a bit in the past. Feels very manly.
Spitfire TGI was actually kind of entertaining, perhaps moreso because there was a Harrier N7 Devastator in the game.
I had Cloak, Skill Packs, and fast movement with Jetboots and Adreneline Mod III.
He had nothing.
I may play a second game with this kit.
