Is this supposed to be happening? 

 

The original one is not salvagable but the newer ones have better stats? Thought they weren't supposed to double up?

it should be salvageable , but you cant salvage if another char is using it .

u cant get a duplicate of a top-tier weapon, heart of despair is "only" lvl 24:-)

I thought these staves would be counted as top tier because their stats are god tier.

Actually I got the lvl 27 descent purple longsword twice. Before my set of those is complete. People get duplicates of those purple lyrium stuff all the time. A friend of mine got like 8 bows and no other drops having the blue versions of multiple weapons in his inventory .

Edit: they r definately same lvl as hakkon. But is that 26?

It "should" be salvageable.  Just have to make sure no one has it equipped and once you equip the new one, go all the way out to the main lobby then back in to your inventory.

Hmm... I never got Isana or Kingfisher. But I got lots of 2h and shield duplicates from the descent set.

The 26 and 27 ones should be unique from the chests only. You can certainly get multiples from the Dragons.

And PS4 too. It automatically goes to the primary hand, no choice.
