Ah, then you'll have to upgrade your PS4, oh wait..

It's quite possible then, that's it's PS4-wide, or you might just have a slightly less powerful CPU in there.

So I'm looking for a short review and honest opinions from people who play or have played it.

Is connectivity and lag an issue?
Is there lots to do?
Is it too Grindy?
Are lobbies easy to get into?
Are micro transactions necessary?

I have a habit of jumping into these things, spending a heap of cash and being severely disappointed.. So any knowledge you can pass on would be appreciated!

-On the lastgen consoles it certainly is an issue, crashes more than lag.

OP, I think it's too late to start.

 

The game is nearing end of support.  People are dropping off, looking for other games to play.  Especially on Xbox one, I have no doubt you will be seeing empty lobbies most of the time now.  If you can find some dedicated friends to play with (at your same level), it may be worthwhile.  However, if you intend to pug it, you'll be playing by yourself a lot.

imo if you join for the multiplayer , i wouldnt , DAI is lacking the end ppl here are only waiting on ME4

I'd say the reverse. I joined for the MP and have essentially zero interest in the single player at this point (got to the Pride Demon and became so frustrated with the party controls that I quit after like half a dozen tries (Nightmare difficulty) -- I should be fighting the bad guys, not the interface). That said, I'm aware that many people like SP but not MP. The point is that it really depends entirely on the person.

No, I did understand you.

I'm saying I *did* start new on MP, didn't even touch the SP until 50+ hours of MP, and *I* would recommend starting solely on the MP. My point is that people will have different opinions and the OP will need to judge for themself.

1) Generally yes. It is significantly worse over longer distances.
2) Yes.
3) The grindier the better.
4) Depends on where you live and when you play. Having friends not to rely on finding public games is always a good idea.

Speak for yourself. Have you conducted a poll? I am not waiting for ME4, couldn't give a £%$^ about ME4. I, and many other players are happy to play DAIMP even with the problems that the game has.

Seems I have touched on a sensitive subject. Whilst others may like Mass Effect, it is not my kind of game. As this is the forum for DAIMP, I only want to address DAIMP. So if people want to look forward to other games, fair enough, but in this forum really?
