As in gold gathering and the ability to use this gold to buy useful items.

 

Some decisions or actions that don't sit well with me.

 

- The loot table thing going totally into the dumpster all of a sudden.  They may have miscalculated when they first came up with this plan in their minds but as with many nerfs it seems to have taken the sledgehammer action.  I spent 38,000 last night and I think I got two purples.  Things evened up a bit on my last chest of the eve because I got 3.  (All salvage)

 

- Pathetic rewards for dragon killing.  A number of game decisions have pushed people to playing that map to death but when you get less gold for beating the dragon than you do for a threatening chest or nug to go along with your dirk there is a problem.

 

- In game objectives, suddenly much harder to attain than before.  The Nug is suddenly on steroids, spawns very often no on its own but right near a spawn and is so fast you miss your chance and you are sol.  Nug success rate has plummeted.

 

- Messenger objective, not much needs to be said, on the higher levels just don't even try.  On the lower levels, he like the nug seems to 1st be encountered right in a spawn, by the time you kill the spawn or he runs to you 1/3 of his points are gone.

 

Terrible odds for getting these high end weapons, much worse gold accumulation for long time and new players.

 

We are in a recession and need some government financial stimulus.

Honestly, I feel like its the dark days of February loot-wise. Where it felt absolutely impossible to get an item that was worth keeping. I remember why I didn't bother getting treasure rooms back in those days too. Worthless salvage over and over.

Honestly, I feel like its the dark days of February loot-wise. Where it felt absolutely impossible to get an item that was worth keeping. I remember why I didn't bother getting treasure rooms back in those days too. Worthless salvage over and over.

Still no official comment on this.

 

Can anyone in officialdom come out and say it's working fine?  If you say it's fine, I will believe you and get over my crummy luck.

 

Can we have an ETA on the hidden loot score please?  

Surely the "number" is already stored for each player.  It has to be for any loot score/tables to work.  Seems a matter of simply displaying it on screen.  It's not hard to take a number, that is already calculated, and show us it.    So can we see it please?  Unless there is some other reason it has not been authorised yet.

At that point you realized that your decision of re-selected the Lego because you saw the party has no warrior had caused everyone gold instead of making more gold.   No good deed goes unpunished.

I think the RNG nerfs were intended to string us along on this super weapon chase for another 6 months. 

 

Can we simply change how this super weapon is gated???  It's a server side thing, so I'm guessing it can be changed at any time.  Here are some ideas:

 

- Make it a %0.001 droprate chance on HeartBreaker dragon.  BUT, everytime you complete heartbreaker, your odds of getting it increases by %0.001.  You get the idea.

 

- Make it dependent on getting 5,000,000 gold.  People will still be grinding for 6 months, but at least it's a known progressive challenge, not RNG dependent.  People will be less frustrated.

 

- Similar to the above, but generalized - make some kind of progressive challenge that just takes a really, really long time to complete.  Remove the RNG factor.

 

If you change how the super weapon is gated, then you can boost up the RNG and give us a better chance to get the new level 27s (which most suck anyways).

I would like a clear concise list of how special weapons can be obtained because so much info has been flooded out I really don't know.  A stick post by the developers would be welcome.

 

- How do I get the Hakkon weapons these days?  (Normal FC dragon runs plus a small chance in a regular chest?)

- These special level 26/level 27 weapons?  (Do I indeed have to keep any lvl 26 blue weapons to have a chance at a purple better version?)

- The newly added weapons and super weapons.  (How do we get these?  Strictly from chest with a very low drop rate %)

- I figured this one out quick, but many newer players have not, dragon armour. (Just have to complete the class challenges of exp obtained.)

I would like to see some of the new new weapons as a reward for completing Heartbreaker.  No one wants to play it once they get the challenge done.  Putting end-game items behind the end-game difficulty makes more sense than locking them behind a gargantuan mountain of RNG.

Untrue. I got lv27 Rime from a treasure room last Saturday. Miracles can happen so don't give up hope! (Nothing worth while from store chests either.)

How do you like the Rime, btw?  I got that one too, but can't figure out how to make it awesome.  Just seems really bad.

I hope it's better than Brand, which I salvaged after a boring-as-hell test run. Then Luke fessed up how to get that stupid weapon...

I remember the day when accessories were hard to come by (exceptions granted still for some) - but now it's rabbit mating season for belts; multiplying like little horny beasts. I dont want them ok?

This. I think accessory drops are pretty great right now. I got two superb critical damage rings back to back in the same chest yesterday. I didn't get one of those until after Dragonslayer and multiple weekends of class chests. 

 

Weapons...nope.

And that's why I always keep one of everything purple... that, and I'm a hoarder, I guess.

I had to salvage both my Kingfisher collection (17) and my Savage Thorn collection (19) to make room for my Superb Belt of the ______ Pact collection.  I have 21 Inferno Pact belts, 13 Storm Pact belts, and 6 Winter Pact belts.

 

I think there may be something wrong with me.  :unsure:

 

Anyone else have any large collections of useless things?
