BioWare must do sneaky experimenting at times on the sly because one group i was in did encounter bolters on threatening a few days back during the bolter embargo.

I don't think bolters were ever taken out of Routine and Threatening.

When I first read this, I thought the Dwarves were returning with their bolters having exploding shot on their bolts.  I think I wet myself a little, on that.  Excuse me, while I go change.  Seriously though, glad they're coming back.  Thanks!

Please look into higher loot payouts for successful extractions in hb. Nothing more deflating for someone when it takes over an hour to solo fc with AW and face rtc, five demon commanders and about 50 red templar horror and knights while only receiving 180 gold in the end for it. FacePalm.

They were originally designed to be exactly the same as Nightmare as the HB mode was supposed to be a 'for fun' kind of thing but if people are using it for farming XP at this point I'll see what I can do about boosting the gold. No promises though as it's not really my call

HB is by far the most fun game mode. It would be a shame if it didn't get played because there wasn't a high enough reward. Sure promotion lords can choose to play it among themselves in private lobbies for fun or to farm XP. But, I think experienced non-promotion lords would really enjoy HB as well. They just need incentive to play it instead of NM. NM offers a higher reward for the time invested. 

 

Is it possible to put items behind the old faction bosses? Or is that impossible?

If hb can be done with a group of 30/30/30 promotion peasants during the beta than it can be surely done in a pug setting granted it's not as easy as perilous/nm but it can be done with some teamwork/coordination. It's just aren't many incentives right now for pugs to touch hb due to skewed rewards and time expended vs other difficulties (nm/perilous).

You forget...the beta bunnies were using the rejoin exploit on a regular basis to complete the HB runs with their 30/30/30 toons.  It wasn't otherwise a normal occurrence to complete the runs with underpowered, undergeared characters.

The Saarebas is just so frickin' great for HB. 45% party-wide damage resistance, 30% stacking party-wide attack speed bonus, mass control spamming and boss annihilation via Shokasit. And let's not forget Heart of Pride, Heart of Despair (80% damage resistance + even more via passives reduction), the new amulet of physical immunity. The game has changed a lot since the 30/30/30 runs and has become a lot easier.

No argument from me, on that front.  It does, however, require that one is brought to the party, that the party is skilled and coordinated enough to take advantage of her, and that the player using her, knows what they're doing.  Things can still go south in a hurry in pugs.

it could be a team fight i don't care but zone 3/4/5 is where the real fights with assassins/brutes/mages occur
