Now that DAI is mostly over I still have some questions. They aren’t really "big ones" but ones I would like to know what you gals/guys think.
1. So who was that magic Chantry woman in the “Hissing Wastes”?
2. Was that really the Divine’s spirit/soul in the Fade or not?
3. What happens to Hawke/Warden left in the Fade?
4. How do we explain that Sera saw “nothing” in the Fade instead of spiders? Does this suggest the Fade could be partially a projection of the mind? Would a 100% atheist be able to enter the Fade at all?
5. Do the residents of the “Fallow Mire” ever recover from the plague that was affecting them?
6. What becomes of Connor?
7. What happened to Teagan to make him so grumpy? And if he was so mad about the Inquisitor peacefully occupying “Caer Bronach” why did they not instantly invade Redcliffe when Alexis took it from Eamon?
8. If you disband, does Skyhold become empty again? That seems profoundly sad to me.
9. When Solas does his thing to Flemeth we see one orb float to Solas? Was that both “souls” or just Mythal’s?
10. We know now that Eleven gods are not what we are led to believe and that are indeed different than the “Old Gods”. So what are the old gods?
11. Who was actually in the “Pixie House” in the Emerald Graves? (As in what type of being?)
I have more but these are the top 11.
1. No plan. Probably some sort of spirt. Those are usually behind almost every strange things that go on in Thedas.
2. Highly implied to be spirit of faith mimicking the Divine.
3. I'm gonna assume s/he dies. If s/hes lucky. Alternatively they are trapped in the realm of an eldritch abomination that loves to make you experience your worst nightmares. It's probably as close to hell as you can get in the DA setting.
4. The Nightmare and his minnions appear to every of you party members as something they fear. And projection if the mind is correct to some degree but not quite. The people that end up in the fade are not the ones conjuring up their surrounding themselves. But demons and spirtits can read their mind and then form the fade by coping things they see in the minds of mortals. In the fade demons and spirits can simply will things into existance. For example the Nightmare reads someones thoughts and says :"Hmm this person thinks statues bleeding out of their eyes would be creepy? So there shall be statues bleeding out of their eyes!" and boom he can just make them appear.
And no being an atheist does in no way prevent anyone from entering the fade. Why would it.
5. They all died. They have already been dead for quite some while before the Inquisition even showed up.
6. I guess he is either dead (if sided with templars) or joins the circle/mage college/whatever the mages do in your epilogue.
7. My guess is that his hair loss he has to conceal with a silly hat made him so grumpy. Also they do march on Redcliffe after Alexis throws him out. Alistair/Anora shows up wit soldiers just shortly after the Inquisition. In the Bad future it's also mentioned that the Venatori fended off multiple Siege attempts on Redcliffe before the demons from the breach decimated the Fereldan populace.
8. Not sure. Since the Inquisitor still is a noble or a least still has a huge amount of Gold, artifacts and whatnot in their posession s/he could make it her residence I suppose. Maybe get some actual common people to move in and make it a small city instead of a military base. Could be that everyone moves out though.
9.As everything where Flemeth is involved it's all very cryptic. Seriously, nobody knows what is going on exactly. And if someone not working for Bioware tells you anything different they are lying.
10. Same answer as 9. Just replace Flemeth with Old Gods.
11. Same answer as 9. Just replace Flemeth with Pixie House.
