...the book lying around when entering the lake-castle area in Trespasser, the diary of Sandal?
With the dead Qunari?
Does this mean Sandal is actually related to Fen'Harel in some way?
Am I the only one who was bothered by that diary?

Books in the library were more like... ideas of books. So I don't think there's a direct relationship, but I think he might be related to the Titans.
I think it was more just an Easter egg. But you know ENCHANTMENT!

You mean like when Sandal killed all those Darkspawn in DAO, and froze the Ogre (not Enchantment) in DA2 and killed more demons at the Gallows, and how Solas is turning all the Qunari to stone and we keep finding what remains of them after he's already passed through? Yeah I felt a weird vibe from that myself.
I laughed out loud though at the library having Hard in Hightown Chapter ???
Nice comparison! ![]()

Yes. Along the lines of "Sandal fell through a fade rift when the Breach opened".

It sort of creeped me out, especially when Varric mentions he never wrote it.
Does it always mention an exiled Alistair, because he was a warden in mine?
Edit: Never mind it turns out it does change - http://dragonage.wik...wn:_Chapter_???

It seems the Crossroads can also show us glimpses of the future.
Sandal was a child of the ancient Sha-Brytol who lived near the elven mining areas. When Solas first created the veil Sandal was flung into an Eluvian and was trapped in the crossroads for a long time, the only thing he remembered from his people "enchantment"
He still has some of his mind since as a child he had not been implemented with lyrium voodoo yet. Then one day as he wandered through the ages he happened upon another Eluvian and appeared in Cadash Thaig. He wanders until Bodhan happens to find him!
