Do we know where this drops from yet? I have the Griffon Mail and Griffon Robes but not the plate armor or schematics.
Thanks in advance.
Griffon Plate Armor/Schematic location?

Apparently "Judgment: The Good Works of Ser Ruth" war table operation rewards you with Griffin Plate schematic.

Spoils of the Inqusitor $4.99
Seriously, though, they left out a bunch of schematics. I really hope this was just an oversight and will be patched in later.

Which is extremely annoying since it closes it off for a lot of Inquisitors instead of simply getting it for the judgement itself. Most of the other schematics don't require rewriting your character to get.

Yeah, I hope so too.

Which you can only get if your Inquisitor is "faithful" and picks Divine Forgiveness.
(Has anyone tried the "Judgment: The Death of Good Ser Ruth" operation lately? I was wondering if that might not give it too, it seems like that would make sense.)

You don't need to tell me that. None of my Inquisitors that could complete it are faithful, so I have to wait till I get to that part with "faithful" one.

Yeah, it's pretty meh ![]()
I did. No change in reward.

How do you get the Mail and Robe schematics?

How do you get the Mail and Robe schematics?
Robe is for "Destroy Darkspawn Outbreak" operation (you need to let Wardens stay and complete chain of operations).
Mail is for "Contact Hero of Ferelden" which requires certain world state.

Wow, I didn't even consider that you need your Warden to be alive to get that one. *Sigh* This one doesn't affect me at least, but can they stop gating schematics behind things you need to do at or before the beginning of the game? There are other and better ways of getting them, like other Warden/Darkspawn missions or maybe just finding it in HLtA.

And I'm assuming that they aren't retroactively added. So that means I'll have to use my newest char to get them. Blah. Mental gymnastics...

I think they are actually, though someone else should confirm. People reported getting a lot of these items just after the patch/DLC and I doubt they were all on new playthroughs. I was thinking of reloading a save before WPHR to get the schematics from its war table mission.

Schematics aren't awarded retroactively. I only The Blade of Tildarion, a schematic you get for the operation to stop a war between Tevinter and Nevarra, by going back to an early save and doing the operation.

Oh, of course. I misinterpreted the other user's question as asking if it only applied to new playthroughs or current ones, not that you would get the rewards if you've already done the requirements. My bad.

It's pretty silly tbh, they should have been available at the shop in the new hub in Trespasser.

Well, hopefully earlier than that too. Maybe the Black Emporium. Yeah. They could keep the new rewards but have them be buy-able in there!

Well, they sort of fixed it with Trespasser and needing to do off the wall side missions in various playthroughs ~points to the giant golden nug~ He lets you transfer all collectibles and schematics to all other playthroughs of the game.

For anyone who's interested, the non-crafted version of Griffon Plate can be found in the Western Approach's Astrarium Cave.
Sadly it's only about a level 5 drop and has around 129 armour, so you'll probably have better gear by the time you get it.

I know about the nug, but I would still have to play 2/3 of a playthrough I don't even want to play just to get one schematics I want. There were better ways they could have gone about unlocking them.

Hmm, if they released schematics for these new armours in a patch, then the restrictions wouldn't really matter. You could just transport the schematics via golden nug.

It's a schematic for subpar armor. It's only available if certain conditions are met, but you can sync it with the Golden Nug. I can't believe people are whinging about this. Now I really want Solas to crash the Veil and take Thedas with him.

So let me get this straight. I have a save with a faithful Inquisitor around the time you can do Ser Ruth's judgement. So I can do "The Good Works of Ser Ruth" and get the schematic. Then I can use the Golden Nug so I can get that schematic for a new playthrough where I can play as a not so faithful Inquisitor?

That would be great. I don't have enough Dragon Age energy after all this time to play most of a playthrough to get one schematic.
