Forty four ellipses, zero complete sentences.

That is the only thing that really amounts to "****-all..." here.

This is gold.

Because the Devs wanted you to make a choice. Not everything should have a happy middleground choice. DAO mixed it up: Elves had 3 choices (both sides + middle), but Dwarves you had to choose one or the other, etc.

I'd be cool if they put a try and get both sides to cooperate option that ended in failure and you had to reload a previous save. :)

so much this....

or even lose both of them and try to reseal the breach without them then having to kill one of your mages \ templars companions instead...

options!

god I miss those.

also on dwarves you could do the entire chain for both sides until the final moment where you go to find branka.

So an instant game over then since they already stated before hand that you need one of them to help reseal the breach

not instant...

let's say you try to get both of them to help you...

you fail to convinvce one of them then fail'Harel (Solas) comes up with a plan to boost you with your templars (cass \ Cullen) and mages companions (Viv \ Dorian).

then during the quest you can save only 3 of those 4 companions where one of them dies.

Alternatively you could stick with one side (templars \ mages) and zerg to the breach before that without losing anyone.

Or,

after siding with mages \ templars go and save the other side or maybe assault their fortress (redcliff \ templars fort) with your new allies to stop them and end the civil war.

ideas, options...
