I had an awesome day yesterday when I went to go pick up my CE of ME2. At the GameStop I reserved it at  one of the newer (and probably now fired) guys there had sold the CE I was going to pick up to a walkin. So when I got there and they realized what had happened the manager game me a copy of the normal version so that I could atleast play the game untill they tracked down a CE for me.

Today they called and said that they have a CE for me and that I could go pick it up at any time.

So I'm wondering now that I have the version I paid for where is the Reg key located? What file, folder, etc. I'd really rather not install the whole game and all that DLC again.

I don't know whether this will help because if you have already registered your first copy of the game then you will still need to re-register the Collector's edition. Just putting in the game-key does not register the game. Why is this important? Because to get the Collector's edition DLC I think you need to go through entering the game-key again as in a regular install.

You can try just re-entering the game-key into the registry, but I think it would be best to uninstall then reinstall then download the Collector's edition DLC.

Oh, I've already unregistered the Normal one I got, and registered the CE key I have. And the CE armors and whatnot are on a separate card in the box, sorta like the Terminus armor card from gamestop (which doesn't work for me!! Gah!)
