I love you guys ,like many Forums the point is lost as people try to get a clever point across, the beauty if you like of an open forum. Yes Cass comes back to the Balcony ,yes I knew before hand that you could not return to Skyhold ,

I am not wanting to enforce my ending on anyone ,oh and as my Inquisitor was human there was no problem with conception . For me ever since I played the first Origin games back in the 70s I enjoy immersing my self into a game much as I do a book,

So please allow me my little bit of fantasy where my Hero, and as she fought by my side right through from the start until the end my heroine Cass to find the love they (in my mind ) deserved .

Cassandra (or any love interest) will return to your side.    Then did you not read the epilogue screens?    Whilst she continues to concentrate on reforming the Seekers, she and the Inquisitor still are able to spend time together and people comment they have never seen her smile so much.   Also there is a final scene at the war table, with you sticking your knife into Tevinter (indicating that is definitely where the game will take us next).   When Dorian was my love interest he was standing in the background of the group.  When Cassandra was my love interest, there was no Dorian, so clearly he was there because he was my partner.   Because Cassandra was one of the founders of the Inquisition she is there regardless, so you probably didn't realise there was any significance.    I haven't done the other romances but I guess it is the same for them.    The Inquisitor will definitely not be alone, unless they romanced Solas or a Qun-loyal Iron Bull.

In my playthrough she didn't rebuild the seekers. Only served on the council for a time but similarly said they were still together. Also that scene with the stabbing, your LI, Leliana and Harding populate it from what I read on the wiki. So it will always be those two, and then your romance choice. Also a romanced black wall who becomes a warden seemingly dies.

When you think about it, it only made sense to not let you travel back to Skyhold during Trespasser. Travel may have taken us less than a minute, but really it is a few days travel (at least) between Skyhold and the Winter Palace. The Qunari are not going to wait around in the Crossroads for you to return. The Exalted Council wouldn't hear of it either. From a role playing perspective, I support what was done.

 

Emotionally? Yes, I miss Skyhold.

 

And yet in the base game, despite the pressing need to defeat Corypheus quickly before he took over the world I had time to go for a stroll and drop some flowers on some random elf woman's grave for her lazy husband and go searching for dragon droppings to help some random stranger out with his research.

 

Prior to the DLC, the game hardly seemed to care about "time sensitive".

I was thinking about this the other day...I finished Trespasser with a Solasmancer and once with a Solas friend/Blackwall girl..and started a third time with a Solas friend/Cullenmancer, and if Cullen is the LI you CAN get married, and right near the beginning.  No big wedding party though but it was very sweet and nice.  It got me wondering, though, why it is that you can't marry Cassandra given that she is a big softie underneath her shell (as long as she isn't Divine).  Then it occurred to me that the ONLY romances that can get actually married in-game are Cullen and Sera (!) which are both LIs exclusive to female Inquisitors.  Did Bioware assume that guys generally would not want to marry their LIs?
