I'm crying so bad now. romance with Dorian was so incredible, It's the first time I play such game as a gay character, and this kind of relationship just feels so real to me. but Dorian didnt talk at all at the end of the "trespasser", I just feel like if there could be more, would be really awesome. But it's really good to see him still by my side at the end, I have no idea why everyone saying he's leaving even he is in relationship with you tho.  and I gotta say Dorian is designed very well that It makes me to feel like he is naturally part of that world, not like he is forced to be a gay character or something. 

 

I wonder if there is 4 coming ? maybe next year?, is it going to be a totally new story or it continues to stop solas?, if it continued, would it use data from the "inquisition", so it will be like we are playing as a fresh soldier or whatever in inquisition serving the inquisitor from 3? that would kick ass, and I really hope there could be little bit more gay romance options happening, and maybe there could be some romance dlc in 4?, I don't know why there is no romance dlc in 3 at all.

Dorian was awesome, didn't romance him as i played a female. However in Trespasser we were really close friends, and i have to admit the friendship side of his story and the writing is also superb, and i almost shed a tear in his scenes about him leaving for Tevinter because it was just so well done, and his friendship felt real, overall a really well done character.

Not next year. Bioware is releasing Mass Effect: Andromeda next year, as well as developing a completely new, secret game with a new universe and setting. According to Mike Laidlaw and Mark Darrah they haven't had the nod from EA yet to make the next Dragon Age. If there is a DA4 (which is likely because of the success of Inquisition) don't expect it til 2018 at the earliest.

I love Dorian, but played as a female and romanced Solas.  He does leave, even if he is in a romantic relationship with the Inquisitor.  It's just implied that he's coming back.

Unfortunately, I don't see DA4 coming out anytime soon.  It will likely be a couple of years at least, with the new Mass Effect development and the development of a few DLCs for it.   It won't be an entirely new story, as Dragon Age games all occur in the same world, and are effected by previous installments.  We won't know how far removed it will be from Inquisition until we start hearing about it, which, as I said before, I'm guessing won't be for at least a couple of years.  I'm not happy to have to wait to see how things go, but I understand that a lot of people like Mass Effect, and my personal opinions don't and shouldn't have any effect on their development.  I'm kind of in a similar place with Bethesda, right now, waiting for them to finish Fallout 4 and DLCs so I can get the next Elder Scrolls.

 

 

 

EDIT: Ninja.  What is the genre of this new mysterious project? Is it fantasy?

I tried to romance with bull and just be friend with Dorian for the second run to see what will happen, but then I just couldnt do it , Dorian is like all over my mind now, guess I just fall too deep in it lol.

that's like lol.........I didnt expect to be that long, as I thought DA3 came out like 2013, then 2016 should be a good time for da4. but anyway I guess I just have to wait for some other games with fancy gay romance story theN

As a female Inq, Dorian was her "gay best friend." Yeah it's a cliche, but it was a really neat, close relationship (the communication crystal!). He and Bull hooked up, too, and man... Adoribull amirite? I was so glad I didn't end up with the betrayer/dead Chargers Bull because that coupling was a highlight from beginning to end. Loved their special epilogue tiles, too.

 

Anyway, yeah. I think Dorian was wonderfully written and performed. Don't understand those who don't love him.

Well, because at the very end of the game in the war table scene, he was standing my side, so I just reckon he has finished w/e he wanted to do, and came back. but from the texts at the beginning of the "trespasser" I did think I was going to lose him, and I was gunna swear bioware ~~. 

 

I am considering to play Mass Effect becoz of kaidan, but I'm never a big fan of TPS. so less choice

yah before I finish trespasser I hear people saying that Bull is going to betray you, I was like ****, so then I started to ignor him after I saved chargers, even though he was once my second favorite, and then he didnt, I was like wtf, and then I just realized that he will only betray you if you don't save the chargers. 

 

I think Dorian has got a lot of positive views so far I have red online, so I am very happy about that. but haters gunna hate who cares lol. as long as there are more people love him.

ME1 - 3 were roleplaying games. Yes, a bit shooter, too. But it depends on YOU how mutch shooter it is and how mutch roleplaying game. I talked to a lot of NPC's in the game and so Mass Effect was a WONDERFUL RPG for me. Don't be frightend for "Science Fiction" - it's a bit ... like Fantasy. Not soo many differences. Just the races are a bit different. But I was really happy not to see always elves and dwarfes and ... whatever ...

 

 

  Ok, we are NOT talking about the end of Mass Effect 3, ok. The Ending of ME3 never happen .... this aren't the droids you are looking for ...

Didn't they cancel that Shadow Realms project back in February? Or is this some new project?  Haven't really been keeping up with Bioware related news outside of DAI and MEA.
