I been away from DA for awhile... so many games to try out, ugh. Anyways, I notice something new, the Blade of Tidarion. It's in the staff section of "Create Weapon." I created it, thinking it was a staff blade. However, I find out it's an actual two-handed magical blade, that only mages can use. Which I find freaking sweet. Though it looks weird sheathed, just hovers over my elf's head and shoulders. Anyways, my questions. Are there more like it? Perhaps a one handed? And are there and combs, or is it just default animation?

There is also Rime (1-handed) and Chromatic Greatsword with similar properties, I believe.

Rime's schematic is called Brand. Their blades are invisible just as Blade of Tidarion's, but both are for warriors.

You can get schematic for it for completing "Stop War Between Nevarra and Tevinter" war table operation.

Yes, it is a new reward for that mission. Quite a few missions now have additional rewards, mostly sigils.

The Stop the War chore table mission is bugged I think. I didn't get it until I logged in to Origin and downloaded all the patches along with Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser. Then I went to the chore table and there it was.

Oh NO! Sometimes games do weird things and sometimes those things are for your benefit... such as the storage chest item dup (infinite Amulets of Power).

The only time BW cares if you "cheat" is if it is on the MP, so you're fine

Only Brand is restricted to warriors (and I think they screwed up the coding for it, it should probably be in the one handed sword section). BoT can only be wielded by mages as intended.

 

@OP, no there are no more like it. Nor are their specific combos for it. I think it's mostly just meant as a way to make KEs feel more like magical warriors if we want them to, which I have no complaints about.
