I've seen a couple of threads online with somewhat conflicting information on this subject so I'm just looking for a clear answer. I have the magehunter shield which grants 3 guard on hit and I also got the blue level 26 sword which grants 3 guard on hit this morning. Will this stack? In wasn't able to tell right away with limited testing...
If not, and I get the purple version of the sword with +5 guard on hit, will it then stack?
2 of the exact same Masterworks won't stack, but any 2 different Masterworks will.
"3 guard on hit" will not stack with "3 guard on hit".
"3 guard on hit" will stack with "5 guard on hit".
Also, "on hit" and "on BEING Hit" will stack. Stack probably isn't the right word, because they are independent.
For instance, Hakkon longsword WF will work with the Isatunoll WF because the sword is on striking an enemy while the shield is on being hit by the enemy. Tested by a friend who has both, two sets of rotating shields will appear around him without even having the ability.
Though, this is the only significant instance I can think of as only shields and armor have "on being hit" procs
