I noticed them, too. It was weird. They didn't look like elves; more like one of those giant Qunari. The figure looked pretty huge. Given how one travels in the Crossroads, it's not too surprising one of them just got lost or fell to get there.

I was thinking maybe they were ancient Elvhen, trapped there by solas maybe. they didnt have horns so i dont think they were qunari

Yeah me too. I noticed several Qunari standing and glaring upwards on small islands.

I thought those were Qunari. Wondered how they got out there.
Then again, I wondered the same thing about Avvar fishing way out on really tall isolated rocks in JoH.

They were Qunari. There's a codex entry where Vidasala or another Qunari commander orders all the troops to not wander off because a few of them went missing on the Crossroads. I assume they were them.
