The answer like always is simple adjustable body types in cc, let everyone create their preferable body type.

Fix this please, or atleast give us body customization for the next game. Everyone shouldn't have the same body type. Just because their elves doesn't mean they should look thin, or in this case emaciated. I don't care what anyone says, Skyrim has the best elf design in a video game. Male elves can have beards and they don't look like children.

I think half the problem is that the generally accepted view out there in fantasy land is that Elves are tall, lithe and beautiful. They differ from humans in terms of eye shape, ear shape, average height (taller), length of life. I think  the movie Lord of the Rings captured the most commonly accepted look of Elves. Elves may be a distinct race but not necessarily a totally different species than man... who knows?

The elves looked better IMO in DA:I, but the man-b**b and arm thing, as well as their under-nourished look has raised more than a few eye-brows.

IMO if Elves are part of the general culture then they would not necessarily have different hair styles. The Dalish might though...
