Krogan, duh. Qunari are just large humans. A krogan can weigh over a 1000 pounds.

Krogan. Qunari are capable of some very, very impressive feats of strength, but krogans can smack someone the size of a qunari the length of multiple football fields.

Would have to give it to the Krogan, being a much larger and heavier species it would be difficult for anyone, regardless of strength, to get much leverage in a close combat fight.
On top of that Krogan have a redundant physiological system were each organ has a back-up they can switch to giving them more staying power in a fight, this also leads to bloodrage which just increases there power and turns them into an almost unstopable force with the only downside being they can't think straight so they just full on charge there enemies.
Plus Qunari tend to look down on anyone who isn't part of the Qun regardless of who they are which has led them to defeat in past games.

None, both are crybabies. A Volus warrior could beat both of them with one hand tied on his back.

I like this human.
The Krogan for all of their 'lauded' history are rather poor losers when it comes to outcome of the Krogan Rebellions. "Oh boo hoo we have the Genophage, lets all get fatalistic and opine about the glory days."
Shut up and grow a quad.
Now, a fight between a Krogan and an Elcor would be something to see. Sure Tuchunka was harsh, but Dekuna has five times that planet's gravity and the Elcor have evolved the muscle and bone structure to thrive in that environment. All the redundant organs in the world won't help you when an Elcor has ripped your arms and legs off and is beating you to death with them. ![]()

Qunari have longer arms.
Krogan don't need arms. They have skulls.

I give it to the Krogan as far a hand-to-hand is concerned.

Krogan would win as they are the more warlike race. their bodies are bread for war and live in a rough and violent world. Krogans are pure warriors with though thick armorlike skin with redundant organs and dense strong muscles. Krogans have taken on nightmarish creatures that wipe out worlds and Qunari can't even take out tavinter. A single Krogan in a one on one fist fight with a quinari the Krogan will win and here is why. The Qunari will be faster and more agile in the fight and will land some strong sound hits on the krogan soft spots ( Im assuming this fight is a armorless fight so try not to picture a qunari and krogan naked hitting each other))The krogan how ever will charge the qunari and bull rush the qunari over. once the Krogan gets his hands on a qunari he will rip him apart limb from limb. fight over Krogan wins surviving the shots to his soft spots with his redundant organs and thick hide this gives the Krogan the resistance to avoid getting taken down.

What is a Qunari?

All things being equal, I would give it to the Krogans. Things being the way that they are, I might have to give it to the Qunari.

In a one-on-one fight with two 'alphas' (DAII Arishok versus the Krogan Warlord Sentinel) of the species? Regardless of being in armor or not the Krogan Warlord is vastly superior in size and strength.
If weapons are involved, the Krogan win because space guns.
If Magic is used against Biotics (Serabaas versus Battlemaster)? I'd have to hand it to the Battlemaster, who has control over their abilities.
-------------
In a war? Krogan most likely have more numbers (The Qun consists of a nation. Tuchanka is a planet.), though Qunari have the advantage of intelligence and spying, but a fight between the two would be generally impossible given the travel capacities of both.

I think a better match would be a Krogan biotic against a Qunari mage.

Just hand to hand, without weapons? Probably the Korgan. Although the Qunari could gore the Krogan with his horns.

I think a better match would be a Krogan biotic against a Qunari mage.
That's a desperate move given the body/balance issues associated with ducking your head down and running at your opponent in such a way that the Krogan doesn't need to even properly counter thanks to size, physical durability and redundant organs and nervous system.
------
I think the question between a Biotic and a Mage comes down to if the Qunari Mage has proper control over their abilities and can make them work the way they want them to. Krogan Battlemasters are all old at this point, but that still makes them strong. . .and when they can reliably use their gravity manipulation abilities?
It's a tougher question to be sure.

Qunari mages have complete control over their abilities, otherwise they're killed. They're also extremely powerful and essentially use gravity as their weapon, like Force Mages.

You mean Kossith, right?
At some point they decided to make the Kossith a bigger, badder race of horned people that the Qunari are trying to flee to the South from, so now "kossith" is a dirty word when discussing the Qunari. David Gaider got real pissy about it on the Dragon Age forums, even though he was the one who said that the race is called "kossith" just a year or so prior. And he failed to offer an alternative to kossith, insisting that non-qunari horned people be referred to with Qunari terms. It's basically like referring to all non-Christians as heretics instead of Muslim, or Jewish, or atheist or whatever. It makes no sense.
