Dear Bioware: Please don't use stock sounds or reuse sound effects from other games. It breaks immersion, badly.

Yeah I can hear the Banshee scream, that's a pretty cheap thing to do.

Also, poor Mr Odd everyone giving him s*** for mispronouncing Andraste.

Yeah Odd is one of my favorite let's-players because he doesnt act all fake and crazy and genuinely cares about the stories.

But it is sad to see some of those youtube comments.  He seems to take it in stride but, that kinda stuff would grate on me after awhile.

Depends on the sound. Certain sounds may have been used so many times it becomes what we identify for that effect. And using their own sound will only be confusing.

On the other hand that stock Sci-fi engine sound in the trailer just makes me think of transformers.

You're doing it wrong then.  While I obviously don't know your hardware config speakers are not worse than headphones, by default.  The investment is lower with a nice set of cans but you can get good sound with speakers, too.

edit:  wrong quote.

What are you the forum police?  Like 50% of the threads in this forums are suggestions for ME:A.  Give it a rest.

Yeah, mods seem to be very relaxed about things. Which is a good thing forums that are heavily moderated normally lose users.

Shouldn't it be in the feedback section though?

Um, no.  There is only one forum for MEA.  If they had broken it up past general discussion then you might have a point.  But he isn't saying hey you should change ME3, he is saying this is what you did in these past games, in MEA please do this.  And the only place to discuss a, "please do this in MEA" is the MEA general discussion forum.
