Ive noticed if i take blackwall or ironbull they dont appear in the clising rift cutscene. Cassandra and solas do? Is varric the only other companion that will? If you take blackwall bull and vivienne is there even a cutscene?

This is a pretty standard scene just about you waving your anchor and closing the breachy bits. The only real difference is if it mages or templars standing with you. Party doesn't matter here... it does matter for what comes right after though!

Cassandra is there because she's nominally the boss of the Inquisition at this point, as well as one of its founders and Justinia's Right Hand. Solas is there because he's the only one who knows anything about the rifts and the mark. They are the two main NPCs, even though Cass drops off the radar a bit after Skyhold.

 

(I think that Cass, being a Seeker, should have helped the templars do their thing instead of Solas, who probably isn't doing any good with all the magic-neutralizing powers flying around.)

The only difference I've ever notices is Cassie's armor.  If she is in your party, she is gussied up in whatever armor you've given her, otherwise it is the default armor/outfit for her.   Probably the same for Solas, but I've never noticed.  Damn Cassie and her feminine wiles making me miss things!
