When I first loaded my game there was an error with connecting to the EA account so I started the game without connecting or putting in any codes.

A few hours later I took a break from the game and put in the codes and downloaded/installed the extra content. I got back in signed into the store and the cerberus network and then loaded my saved game. I have no idea where my gun and armor are though, i cant see them in the armor window or anything. Is there a certain spot in the game you have to get to in order to get the gun/armor or as soon as you load the game should they be there.

Or, since I started the game without having logged into the EA account or having anything installed with the content not be available in this game and I have to start a new game to get the stuff?

There is a a place to change armor when you first go see the illusive man. slide the bar to see different armor sets. You can also access the armor sets in the captains room once you get te Normandy. I still havent found the gun. It is suposed to be in the armory on the Normandy but its not...
