I feel pretty good about myself. I play alot of those characters, especially Quarians, and I have really turned into Batarian groupie. I've always played BatSent, but have started playing all of them with modest success. I play the ACA often, and Vanilla Adept/Engineer, too. Wish I had more time to play both Salarians more. Unfortunately, when I see most people playing these kits, it is ugly because no knowledge of setups.

Back to OT:
1. Both Quarians Engineers. I don't understand why I don't see these more. Both so good.
2. ACA: fun
3. All Batarians: Damage dealers and tanky, my game has improved as my knowledge of how to play these beasts
4. Cabal: hardly ever see PUGS running her

Batarian Slasher, I never see anyone play him. One of my all-time favorites, hilariously fun to play. And very powerful as well, he can put out some of the highest peak damage in the whole game.

I only ever see Juggernauts, AIUs, TGIs and GIs in PUGs.

94% of the time I play QFI

6% of the time I play QME.

I see a lot of Krogan. Most get sync killed by Banshees.

That's about it unless I play with someone from BSN.

In my experience there seems to be like at least 2 Quarians in the games I've played with BSNers. :P

I forgot about the bartender. Another stupidly powerful kit that is never spotted in any PS3 lobbies I join.

xcal has a video of him, Collectors/White I think, where he just lays waste to everything. I've wanted the Bartender ever since I saw that video, and he's still eluded me thanks to RNGesus. Once I get him though, I'll never plan on Collectoring with any other kit.

Edit: Video

I had a "Teach me to claymore" thread where (iirc) Deerber suggested Batslasher. Worked out bloody well. Good weapon/power synergy and timing.

Vorcha Sentinel. He's an insane amount of fun and awesome for getting killstreaks on Gold.

Of course, I'm glad I don't run in to them, because that ****** noise drives me insane when I'm not the one making it. Although when I am the one making it, it's completely acceptable and everyone needs to stop whining about it.

I hardly ever see PUGs come into a lobby with a Submission Net character.  I like the BatSent and Vorcha Hunter quite a bit.

This, especially for the Hunter. The batarian adept and the drell vanguard are very rare too. But the character I absolutely never see is the Battlefield soldier. I'm not even sure I saw a single one this year lol.

Globally I find that PUG lobbies are way more diverse than some are describing here (TGI, AIU, Jugg). I see a reasonable number of all types of characters, notably asari (valkyrie especially) and krogans (Warlord, soldier and sentinel seem all popular to me). Having a Volus in the team isn't rare either.

My fave unsung heroine is the QFE. In my first month of playing MP I latched onto her as the outfit with which I could top bronze/silver scoreboards; I played her on those rare occasions that I felt I should appear impressive. This was long before I even knew what a Hurricane was - but my QFE and the Locust could kill at any range.

Al of Deadwood/jmac is the *only* QFE I've seen in a game in recent memory. And speaking of Al/jmac, he is the one who recently put me on the road to QME happiness (and Real Ultimate Power!) by telling me to carry a cryo Falcon and freeze all the things. In fact, when I play a char that I've underutilized, jmac is often the dude who puts me on the path to improvement (QMI, BatSent, ACA, EDI, etc). It might occasionally be a weird, winding, non-linear path, but... ;) He rocks the vanilla human engis, btw...

I NEVER run into another Salarian Engineer.  Admittedly he doesn't immediately stand out as a powerhouse, but once you unleash his final form he comes at you like a wrecking ball

I do see quite a few Salarian Infiltrators, but they always disappoint me in numerous ways

MY SOUP!!!

I think there may be BumBums on display the next time we all play.  It's possible you have yet to try the Claymore on her, so you can have a look at mine first if you're not sure.  It's beyond satisfying*.  ENEMY SPINACH!!!

* Obligatory shoutouts to QMR and Deerber (and Fortack!), for being in-the-know on this before me.

My favorite character, which I have never seen in a PUG, is the Asari Juggernaut, or AssJuggs.  She's got the perfect balance of power and finesse, as long as you have a firm grasp on her.  She's got a lot of curves to her (learning), but well worth the time put in and out of her.

It takes a bit to warm up, usually the first few waves is just getting the moves right and exploring her wide array abilities.  But after she gets going, it's almost like she's playing herself.  You can just lay back and watch the show until it's time to come   back to reality.

Great kit.

Human Engie? I think the only one playing her is me.

Since Mathias said he plays her, there are at least 4 of us who play her regularly.

How I know for a fact it is time for me to get glasses..I read ^^^^^^^ as saying " My favorite using heroin is the FQE"

I actually don't see many FQE's out there any more..aside from the occasional BSNr     I never see any Quarksman...ever..Saboteur appears to be going extinct....though when I do use him I use the Crusader.

Shadows who use their sword.

I'll second this one.  Every time I see a Shadow in the lobby, I get kind of excited.  But then it turns out that they are just sniping and slashing, and it makes me sad.

Also:  Krogan Soldier.  I see plenty of Warlords and Kroguards.  I see a decent number of Shamans and Sentinels.  I never see any Krogan Soldiers.  He's the best one!

I played with a Saboteur in a game yesterday.  He wasn't very good, but he was good at waiting to fire his Homing Grenades until after the Banshee put her hand up, negating my Incendiary Ammo DOT quite effectively.

Saboteur is a little tricky..I thought so when 1st trying to figure him out... I have seen some pugs struggle really bad with him as well Miniditka.. I saw one the other night..I couldn't even tell what kind of turian the pug was until he finally fired 1 homing nade..but he kept dying every 20-30 seconds

I get the feeling that people play the Saboteur more aggressively than they should sometimes, because he has the same "feel" as the TGI and the Havoc, but then they forget that the Saboteur doesn't have StimPacks.  Just a theory though.

Either of the Human Infiltrators. I think I've seen one in the last two months, over which time I'm sure I've seen more Novaguards (also a rarity).

Also:  Krogan Soldier.  I see plenty of Warlords and Kroguards.  I see a decent number of Shamans and Sentinels.  I never see any Krogan Soldiers.  He's the best one!

That's the Krogan I see the least of, too. It makes no sense.

I've seen plenty of Salarian and Quarian Engineers recently, though, which has been a pleasant surprise.

I love my melee shadow and its fun when you run into another, but since most pugs just snipe with her and spam slash actin like they are being effective, its a rare thing. Besides there are better kits to snipe with.

Jack, please tell me she specs into Pull? Maybe she even has some kind of extra special rapid Pull / Throw combo with no cooldowns? Just.... tossing everyone around her.  That would definitely get me to stand to attention, and I could leave her alone with the last Nemesis on Dagger for as long as my heart would desire.  :D
