Shadows who use their sword. 

 

I don't see Shadows very often since about a month after Earth was released, but when I do, they rarely use their swords.

 

Vorcha Sentinel. He's an insane amount of fun and awesome for getting killstreaks on Gold.

 

Now that you mention it, I have no idea why PuGs don't use the Vorcha Sentinel more often, given that it is a better score-wh*ring kit than the TGI under most circumstances (although, granted, probably harder to stay on one's feet with than TGI, which I technically wouldn't know one way or the other, so just guessing.)

I don't see PuGs using Krogan Shaman very often, but Fids used to play one about 60% of the time, so I kind of got used to having a nigh-unto-invincible-grenade-hucking-tank in my games.

I rarely see Batarians, Salarians, vanilla Turians, or non-Warlord Krogans in gold PUGs.

I forgot if I posted here or not. But was going to say Volus Merc. Seems like the Engineer is the most popular Volus, but he's got nothing on the Merc.

To be honest I rarely see any engineer nowadays other than talon mercs and the occasional QFE.

They are my least played classes probably. But gotta give Bioware credit. Even soldiers moved past just shooting things. Destroyer is a wonderful kit that shows good design(imo, that is). Batsol has a wrist mounted shotgun with unlimited ammunition. As for infiltrators... yeah, they are kinda boring, but they still have more going for themselves than just shooting things. If only cloaking before that

 

Seriously, I consider them most boring classes out there. But compared to your run of the mill FPS, they are designed pretty well. For what that's worth.

Off-hand I can't think of any game to compare it to, not that I've played anyway, so I'm in no way criticizing the game or Biovar, but I am saying that when I pUUG, it's all Soldiers and Infiltrators, all the time. I joined a lobby yesterday with my Drell Adept/ClayMOAR setup and the funniest thing happened. After the match was over and we got back to the lobby, 2 of them switched to the Drell Adept and equipped him with the...you guessed it...ClayMOAR. It definitely made me crack a smile. Sometimes players just need to be led by example and it can change how they see various kits.

Indeed it was. I enjoyed playing with them since both were newer players and were using kits I really like (Justicar and TSent). I switched to my DrellGod and somebody else joined and wanted to kick me (lol). Sadly, I got tired of the waiting game so I left and didn't get to see the others Drell it up.

Indeed. Remember that Fagnan stated that the DrellGod was/is the least played kit across all difficulties.

To add to my earlier post, I joined a lobby earlier with my Salarian Engineer/Wraith and had a match with 3 others on Ghost (the host was a human sentinel). After the match I got the typical WFOP screen so I had to back out. I change kits and stuff then search for a lobby. I joined one and it was the same host that I just played with. Lo and behold he was using the Salarian Engineer with the Wraith We ended up duoing Ghost/Reapers/Gold. Cool stuff there.

Volus, they are so good (except the adept which is mediocre) but I rarely see pugs use them.

I like going back and forth. But you've got to Soldier enough to be a true machine master of Mass Effect.

 

I also think Destroyer might be my fave Soldier. I just like Devistate Mode that much. Pity this is still my last kit that needs to be unlocked on PS3 account.

QFFT. Every infiltrator build is obviously centered around TC. Soldiers have multiple kits that allow a multitude of different playstyles.

I obviously didn't come across as I intended; I love soldiers, play them all the time. Raider BatSol, Quarksman, Claymoar Vanilla Human, all that.

 

What I'm saying is, in pUUGs, it's nearly always the Juggy.

Being on PS3 as well I definitely understand that then. I wish Eric or Bryan would give us another updated list of most/least played kits.
